This is the longest we've gone without new Who since 2005. Still, at least we know we have it to look forward to! It's better than those dark old years in the 1990s.0

I can't wait. I haven't heard any definitive date on when the new season is supposed to return, but it seems like we're going to have to wait at least a couple more months until the fall.

It seems that the first episode of season 7 is being screened for the press today, which means that it will air on the BBC very soon. Smith had previously stated August. So at most a couple more weeks to wait! (Hopefully.)0

Where did you see that? As of three days ago, the air date is specifically unconfirmed on the BBC web site. And there's been no update since.
A quick peek and the BBC America website doesn't seem to have a date either.
EDIT: I did find a claim of Sept 1'st on one web site, but it didn't provide a source for the claim.0 -
