Resource gathering game?

I am a fan of gathering resources...like in age of empires and stronghold. Are there any other games that have this mechanic? Like gathering meat and grains and fish...so fun for me :)

    Try EVE online. Or Minecraft with the Millenaire mod.

    I have been playing Castleville on Zynga. http://www.ein-herjar.com is also quite good.

    Have you ever been to BBGsite.com ? You can check out a ton of browser games by type.

    Harvest Moon is a great series of games. Its on a couple platforms. I still have the cart from the SNES version which means its been 15 years =\

    I like Minecraft a lot for that.

    You could also play Fallen Earth or Ryzom (f2p mmorpgs).

    Harvest Moon 64. Ah the memories. I still like the old school Populus. another good one was Black and White.

    Guild Wars 2, yeah I know not out yet but some fun Beta events to keep us entertained until release.

    I would suggest Ultima Online, it had a great resource gathering mechanic, too bad no one plays it anymore.

    Maybe, Minecraft, it seems to be pretty popular.

    Well, StarCraft and StarCraft II feature resource gathering (minerals and vespene gas)

    The "Civilization" series also feature those types of themes.
