I've been a pretty big fan of it for a few months now, and I just bought Oliver! Sqeeeeeee! SO excited!
Anyway, who is your favorite character and why? I like them all, but I have to go with Miku being my absolute favorite. I love her voice, and her HAIR. Love it. I want Miku hair. Only brown. XD

I don't own any vocaloids, but I enjoy the videos that people have done. My favorite is also Miku, she seems to be the most developed vocaloid I have seen.
I don't know much about the software itself. When you buy a vocaloid are the video editing options pretty robust or is it primarily the text to voice that you are getting. Do you have a suggestion for a starter vocaloid software?0 -
I personally don't know enough about the programs to give any professional advice, but I think Vocaloid3 stuff is more English friendly. I think. Don't quote me on that, lol. I went with Oliver, cause he's an english Vocaloid, so it seemed the most logical choice to me, especially since I don't know up from down when it come to Japanese. :P
It's just the voice you get with the program (I think). I ordered Mixcraft 5 to create the music to go with his voice. That came in the mail today, so i'm hoping to play around with it today, to become more familiar with it.0 -

I am a huge fan of vocaloid! That is all I basically listen to lol

I'm a major fan of vocaloid! It's basically 90% of my iPod. I can't pick a favourite because I love all of them! XP I've cosplayed Miku, and plan to also cosplay Rin and IA. My favourite producers are currently Shizen no TekiP, PinnochioP, Kikuo, NashimotoP and Deco*27
I speak pretty decent japanese, but I have a mac so it's too hard to get working vocaloid software.... And I don't really fancy using Macne Nana... 0 -

Okay, so I got Oliver in the mail a few weeks ago, which was really awesome. Love his voice. It's not as strong as some of the other Vocaloids, but it has a sweet tone and mellow quality, which I like. I'm finishing up my third song. When I finish the album I will release some vids on Youtube and letcha'll know. Soooo excited!0
