ALRIGHT GUYS! Lets slim down and shape up. Lets do some WEEKLY CHALLENGES to melt that fat!
Keep in mind that if you have any challenges you want to start, post away! I think it would be cool for everyone to come up with challenges and get everyone else to do them. The more workout/challenge options the better.
MY CHALLENGE FOR YOU (starting off easy):
(this may be childs play for you lifters :P)
For one week do each of these each day....
150+ situps or crunches (seperate them throughout the day) -ie. 5X30
300 jumping jacks -ie. 5X60
30 pushups -ie. 3X10
50 lunges
50 squats
What are you doing reading this still? Get to work!

my challenges for this week are to do
30 mins of yoga everyday
100 sit ups per day
5 mins of weight training
stick to 1000 calories consumed.

Sorry, I love my knees. I wont be doing Jumping jacks. I will do something else in it's place though.0 -
I made challenges for june, alternating body parts. here it is if anyone wants to try - its kinda written in my lingo if someone doesnt know what i mean just ask : ) Day 1 starts June 1 and then i do this to the end of june. The rest of my challenges i had already made for june were 30ds which im still working on, tredmill at least 3x times a week, and then for food to make sure i stay under FAT and SODIUM, carbs too but protein i dont care if i go over and sugar i always go over because of my banana and glass of juice a day but i need the potassium so i dont worry about it.
Day 1 arms - bicep curls 5 lb weights 3 sets 15; dumbbell shoulder press 3 lb weights 3 sets 12; lay down arms straight up 3lbs weights bring over head 3 sets 12;Tricep bend 3 lb WTs 3 set 12
Day 2 legs - calfs and inner thighs (blog images video); lay down v's 3 sets 20
Day 3 abs and back - ball crunches 3 sets 30; bicycle crunches 1 minute; plank hold 1 minute; side with weights 3 lb 3 sets 15; twist 2 sets 20
Day 4 rest/ random
Day 5 arms - bent over row 3 sets 15; lay down side flys 3 lbs 3 sets 15; lay down up press 3 lbs 3 sets 15; bicep curls 5 lb 3 sets 15; diamonds 3lb 3 sets 12
Day 6 legs - lay down v's 3 sets 25; inner lay down lifts 3 sets 15 each side; lay down outer lifts 3 sets 15 each side; bent leg lifts (butt) 3 sets 15 each side
Day 7 abs and back - superman 3 sets 15; back lifts ball 3 sets 12; alternate crunches 3 sets 15 each side; side bends 3 lb weights 3 sets 15; twists 3 sets 25
CONTINUE TO REPEAT throughout June!!!0 -
My goal is to resume martial arts training and go at least 2 times a week. And i'll do my rushfit dvd and stick to it this time.0

This is my work out plan as it stand now
Sunday: Yoga/ c25k with my 11 year old son
Monday: Zumba 1 hr
Tuesday:Yoga/ c25k with my 11 year old son
Wednesday:Zumba 1 hr
Thursday:Yoga/ c25k with my 11 year old son
Friday:Zumba 1 hr
Saturday: REST (which really just means work on my farm)
I want to try the 30 day shred, but I'm unsure if I should add it to this program. I don't want to drop any of this so maybe the shred will have to wait until DH and I run our race in August.0 -

Since my main goal right now is to lose weight and burn fat my fitness goal for the week is to do 1 hour of high intensity cardio everyday! For nutrition since I like to cook and make up new recipes I will be creating a new yummy protein shake recipe for my breakfast everyday. Yesterday was mint chocolate oreo, and today was pumpkin pie, both were SUPER yummy!0

My goal is to complete 20 miles of jogging total by next Monday June 11th!0

My challenge as well is to take up jogging....We have such beautiful weather here and I could really do this on days that I can't get to the gym.0
