Just don't start

I am a binger..always have been. But I really think that stopping for a momment before I start to eat unplanned foods will help. I often use up more calories for my snacks than i do for my meals. That is not healthy...especially when many of these foods are full of sugar and fat. When I get started..it just keeps on. Sometimes I feel so full that I am sick. I vow to never do that again. But then I do. I am going to try turning to this group instead of taking that first bite. Thanks for being here.

That is a very good plan!!! I will do the same.
I think that people should come here and post in this topic of when they felt a binge coming on. I have been wanting to binge ALL DAY. I just want to eat that gallon of ice cream in my freezer, those cupcakes, and that family size bag of white cheddar cheese doodles. I am a little bit hungry still, bc I'm saving some calories for drinks for tonight. I WILL NOT BINGE.0 -
Good for you, Megan. I did pretty good today but had a small binge...eating way more peanut butter than I planned to. Now I am going to bed. I do not eat after I go to bed. Maybe I should go to bed right after supper.0

SKheather-That's awesome that you didn't eat much!!! I'd say to go to bed when you're tired. Maybe you can read a book or watch a movie if you feel a binge coming on.
I SO BADLY WANT TO BINGE RIGHT NOW. It's really late and I just went out for clubbing and drinks with my friends. I usually get hungry late a night, restricted a little today (only ate 1,400 cals and saved the rest for a couple drinks), and am a little anxious. ICE CREAM, AND CUPCAKES, AND CHEESE DOODLES, OH MY!! LOL, I won't give in to the binge monster.0 -

was outside all morning, so it was easy not to ear. Now I am in the house, alone, and food is calling me. I will wait a while and try to keep busy. Maybe it (the cravings) will go away. At least I will have some more time without eating.0
