Bad mess up...

Uggh yesterday was awful. We went out to eat for breakfast which was not terrible but I had decided I just wanted to enjoy myself and my food. Later in the day I got a starbucks white chocolate mocha and I could have done it light but when they asked if I wanted whipped cream I said yes. I just wanted my Starbucks. Still it wasn't the worst thing ever. But then when it was time for bed and I was sitting watching TV I did myself in. I ate frozen yogurt, followed by a small bag of potato chips, followed by god knows how many jelly beans. I am not sure why these urges are overtaking me lately. The only thing I can find as a common facotr is I have not been getting enough sleep.

Sometimes the best thing to do is to brush your teeth and tell yourself that is the end of eating for the day. If you can just go to bed when the cravings start at night, that will probably help. I have been reading on this thread that some of us have to go "cold Turkey"...just don't have that first bite of junk or sugar. I think I am that way but am still not able to do this consistantly. However, we can always start over..Never give up!

I agree with heather! Christen-you and I are so similar. We keep getting down on ourselves for not eating clean. Like you said, I do better wen I go cold turkey, but then it never lasts very long!! Once I eat something junky, I keep wanting more. I always feel okay if it's within my calorie range, but I feel like I lose more and am healthier when I eat clean. We just have to keep pushing. Try not to keep junk in the house, I'm going to try to convince my parents to do the same!! Feel free to message me if u want :)

Thanks guys. Sorry it took me so long to re-check this thread.

I actually did good today so I am really happy with myself. I hope I can keep it up!!! One thing I am learning is when I eat a ton of protein like close to 100 grams I do not seem to get very hungry or cravings so I am going to try and keep that up.
