I don't really have much advice but just wanted to say good luck! We've been TTC for almost 3 years now. I've done a few rounds of clomid with injects and femara this cycle..I'm in the 2ww now. Hopefully seeing a specialist will help move things along for you!!

My advice is to try not and stress over it which thinking back is nearly impossible but the crazy thing I found for me was that when I threw in the towel and decided to focus more on weight loss than ttc bam I ended up pregnant...... good luck and know there is definately hope!

My advise is also to try and relax, when I had finally convinced my husband to let us try clomid in December if nothing happened by then (he was worried about the risk of multiples) we conceived within the next couple of months without the clomid (triplets) and weird enough they were born in December... I had been on metformin for a little over 2 years. I also read the book "The Fertility Diet" I tried to follow that as closely as I could so I do reccommend that...don't know if it helped or not.....

Good luck to you. Also have been on metformin and tried a couple cycles of clomid. Next step is femara as soon as I can have a good stretch of time that I won't have to be out of town (I'm highly monitored).

Low carb, low sugar diet. My doc told me to exercise 1 hour, 7 days a week (still working up to that one just from a timing perspective). He also has me on supplements - 1000 mg of cinnamon/chromium 4 times a day, and inositol.

Good luck! I agree with Mel that trying not to stress and concentrate on being healthy is the best thing. Its hard when you're constantly getting good or bad news, its such a roller coaster. I find that message boards and a journal and talking with DH help me try to stay as Zen as possible about it.

My husband and I have been trying to start a family for a little over a year now, i'm on Metformin and also on my 3rd cycle of clomid. I find the entire process to be extremely discouraging, taking pills in the morning and at night, peeing on a stick every morning to see if i'm finally ovulating, etc. After this round, I am no longer going to take metformin and chlomid. I'm going to get healthy, I 100% feel that getting healthy is the answer. So, heres to drinking water instead of wine, eating a salad with no dressing instead of pizza, and running shoes instead of heels.
