Reading through a few of the threads this evening, I noticed a few "My boyfriend says..." or "I met my girlfriend..." and I'm confused. You're in a committed relationship but hanging out in a singles group?

Yeah, I have a boyfriend, but we have our own lives, don't live together and are pretty specific that there's no long term plan. So, I consider myself single. I definitely don't relate to all the family stuff and SAHM posters as well as I do to the topics in this group ;-p Not to say that they don't have good input... just that my situation isn't similar.0

Yup. I joined the group as a single as did most of us who may be currently coupled. For myself, I've become invested in the people in this group and like the discussions so do not want to be ex -communicated now that I have a boyfriend.
And not married or long term in any case so still like input regarding the early stages of relationships0 -

I paid BIG BUCKS to get my divorce ASAP. I kicked him out in July and it was official March 31st. Booyah! I waste no time!
I'm trying to get the actual divorce (and name change!) done asap...because it is possible the property stuff could take a long long long time. The custody stuff should be settled relatively soon. Hopefully, my attorney will get right on that. :noway:0 -

I'm 100% single, but I think it's cool to still hang out here if you're unmarried. It's not like MOST of us see this as a way to chat up another single person (though it seems that a few are having some luck that way...:smooched: )
I like just hearing what everyone else goes through so I remember that I'm not alone. If you're unmarried, you're probably still going through some of it, too!0 -
