Facepalm

I like to pamper myself when I'm pregnant and try to make myself look "pretty" to combat the fatigue and blahs. I've figured out before that the beauty shop is a no-go during first trimester because of all the smells.
Well, today I figured I'd put a henna rinse on my hair to cover the grays that are starting to show and make it shiny. Good choice, right? Plant-based, all natural, and...
OMG, it smells like a strong combination of spinach and other green stuff I won't mention. And no matter how many times I wash my hair, I STILL smell it. Geez Louise!

Haha. Oh no! I have no clue how to get that out. Sniff some lemons when it bothers you :P

Try a really thick conditioner that smells yummy. Pantene, maybe?

I got my hair cut yesterday and almost threw up from the hair spray smell.

I should've thought of that! Last pregnancy, I carried a bottle of lavender essential oil in my purse for unexpected smells. At work (I work in an intensive care unit), I wore a surgical mask with a drop or two in it.
At least after the smell went away, I liked the results of the henna!
