Hi All; I hope it's okay that I start the new thread for this week. If I'm overstepping let me know and I won't do it again. For me this week ... 3 lbs. gone. Woo Hoo :laugh:

    Thanks for getting us started this week Maggie - and never a problem for anyone on the team to start the weekly weigh-in topic! I appreciate the participation!! And I love the format you used listing out all the weeks - going to do that myself to keep a monitor of how I did over the 16 weeks - great idea!

    That said - I am in a bit of a predicament today. As of yesterday I was up a lb from last week. Today my scale gave me 3 different weights on three different step-ups. So I'm guessing either my scale ot it's battery is shot. I'm posting the weight from yesterday, but once I get my scale fixed will try again and see what happens!

    Initial Weight 6/07: 307.8 lbs
    Week 1 6/14: 308.6 - up 1 lb.

    Weight stayed the same this week. Not too upset as my loss from the week before the challenge was over the top. (4 1/2lbs)

    I'll take it! think i will switch up workouts. pretty sure my body has gotten used to the same old same old. we are supposed to maybe hit 70 degrees today and no rain. will get out and garden after work. good luck other fitness pals. tammy

    Pretty pleased with that as had a heavy weekend so can't complain. Have found myself eating up the exercise calories given to me by my Fitbit adjustment and have noticed a creep up in the calories I'm averaging, I suspect a little too high for me. Am changing my settings to lightly active from sedentary as apparently the adjustment will be lower so this wont give me so many extra cals - I'm sure I don't really need them but I eat them if they're there!

    Everyone is doing so great! If you aren't seeing loss on the scale - make sure you are tracking your measurements at least once a month. I have been seeing great loss in inches, even though the scale isn't budging. Seeing the loss somewhere - and yes - feeling better in general - makes up for the lack of scale movement!

    Not sure what happened this week- I have worked out for the last 5 days~ and the scale went up~ but that's OK- not gonna let it dictate my life!

    Well - weight today is showing a just a small loss now from last week. Scale is working again - but I will leave my post as-is and see how things are looking next week!

    Woo Hoo, Down 1.7!!! I was really nervous since I was on vacation and not tracking my activity, food etc, and all in all in vacation mode. Back on track and SO excited to see how well everyone is doing!!!
