Week 2 was a total bust for me. I caught a cold, which turned into a big ol' sinus infection. My husband worked late every night, so I didn't cook. I ate out. I ate crap. I only made it to the gym 3 times and those three times were really half hearted efforts to do something. I still have this stupid infection, but I'm hoping I can get back to the gym by Tuesday! Y'all say a prayer that I can, please!

Don't let it get you down, anyone can have a bad day or bad week , it's a part of life. Just get back on track as soon as you can. I know you can do it!!

Thanks for posting. My week was bad too, nice to know I"m not the only one. I am going to restart week 2 again. My issues were other parts of my life getting in the way. I HAVE GOT to learn to say no so I can do my runs!!!

And of course pizza was brought into the house which is ALWAYS bad for me. Not sure why i can't eat just one piece.........

Plus of course my we had to go out for mexican food. Which is another thing I can't just eat a little of.

    I completely understand!

I think it's important to remember that Life happens. Sometimes you're going to eat too much pizza. Sometimes you're not going to make it to the gym. That's just how it is.

The real challenge - Do NOT let it change your movement forward. You can't change what you've done in the past, but you CAN change what you're doing in the present.

For instance, @Chandra - you're so hard on yourself, but you DID make it to the gym 3 times. You know that you didn't give it your all - but be proud that even when life was getting to you, you STILL made the effort to get there. And as long as you put forth that effort - even if not every workout is olympic or Jillian Michaels-worthy - you will get there.

I believe in every single one of you. Don't give up on yourself, just pick yourself back up and keep t it. :flowerforyou:

Thanks, y'all! I just had a really hard couple of weeks. My husband had to work really late all week the second week of this challenge, and then was out of town for work all week this week. On top of that, I caught a cold, which turned into a really bad sinus infection, while trying to take care of my two boys. I'm ready to get back on track! I've missed my gym time! Thanks for your encouragement!

Yep, @Chandra, it's time for some Mom-centric time! I'm glad you're feeling better, and can focus on you for a little bit each day. :drinker:
