awww...where are you going for your honeymoon????

I"d really start lifting weights, if you're not already. Even if you don't lose the pounds per se, you'll lose inches.

Congratulations on finally getting to go on your honeymoon. Good luck on the weight loss. Even if you don't lose 70 pounds by October I'm sure you'll feel wonderful about all of the progress you'll make, and love how your new fit body is coming along!

Thank you! I'm hopeful I can lose that much... If I lost the 70 I'd hit my goal at 8% body fat. I already have the crappy before pictures....I'll make sure I post the afters too :)

Good luck with your goal! Im sure youll do great.

Hey Im worried this will happen to me so havent even started - no idea what is right like which weights and for how many reps and if Im even going to be holding them right lol but all the stuff out there seem like hardcore programs so I dont want to go buy one thats over my head even though looking at my arms I probably need to start soon to tone.

Go with something simple like starting strength, it's compound moves and will get results fast

    or stronglift 5x5

    you can google either.

If you belong to a gym go and talk to a trainer. Most gyms you are eligible for at least 1 free session with a trainer and they can show you how to lift correctly if you think you may be doing it incorrectly.

Definitely good luck on your 70 lb goal to loose by your honeymoon. It's defintely lofty, but whatever you loose plus inches you should look and feel fantastic.

Kim gave you good advice: Get a trainer. The last thing you want to do is overtrain, and end up with an injury that will hurt you and your plans.

70 pounds in 18.5 weeks is probably too unrealistic of a goal. If you are morbidly obese, then it might be obtainable, but not if you are shooting for 8% body fat. You might want to set a goal of loosing 20 to 30 pounds, so that you can meet that challenge. Make your 8% body fat an eventual goal, but make that goal a long-term one.

"Life by the yard is hard. Life by the inch is a cinch!"

It would be great if you and your honey could get out and WALK. Walk everywhere you can! You are going to want to be in good walking shape for Disney!

You will, of course, need to do more exercising than walking. Strengthen your core and you large muscles in your legs. Stronger large muscles will help burn fat faster.

And don't forget your nutrition. No white food: Potatoes, sugar, salt, white flour or artificial sweeteners. Drink lots of water and skip the caffeine. Eat lots of fruits and tons of veggies!

    Good luck!!!
