Hey everyone.
I'm waiting on my surgery date and am stoked to take this trip.
Looking for a supportive community. Everyone I know is super skinny and vegan and awesome...but no fatties other than me.

Can we be friends?

I'm reluctant to add folks. I've gotten some messages saying that people only add real life friends...so I'm nervous to offend.

    Hi Steve,
    It's nice to meet you. I am exactly one month out from surgery, and it is the best decision I ever made (besides picking a great husband and raising some equally great kids). I would be glad to have you as a friend. I'm not sure how to accomplish this since I have only been on this site for a week, but if you know how...please add me!

    this is a wonderful place to find support. I don't personally know any of MFP friends but feel a connection to them in mutual support of our common goals. I am a few days to my 2 month surgiversary and loving my sleeve!!!!! You will too I am sure.
