New Horse!!

I am very excited. I am trying not to be but I am anyway. I am going to pick up a new horse this weekend. He is older... 16 or 17. He is gigantic - about 16.3. He has a big head and a skinny body, which hopefully can be balanced out with more groceries. He is a palomino paint and his name is Lonesome. He is SUPER sweet, an excellent trail horse, and is just what I am looking for. Of course, I would prefer a horse with a smaller head and a fatter body but thats ok, I will take brains and personality over beauty any day. He isnt UGLY... well, he is a little ugly. LOL I cant wait to ride him. I am going to pick him up on Sunday. The pictures that my friend sent me are horrible but he is free to me, sound, and healthy, and a level headed trail horse which is just what I was after. He is a nice mover and has enough training to do lower level dressage, hunter under, or even western pleasure. I am not really into competing anymore but its nice to have the option. Hopefully my new pony will get me out riding more often since I wont have t contend with the psychotic-ness of my little mare.
