Week #1 Weigh In

Hi Guys,
Just thought Id start a thread for everyone to post on any day that is their first week weigh in, then next time we'll start a new thread for week #2 etc.
Today I am -3lbs!! Im amazed by this and please dont think this is what I get all the time. From my first post on the original topic:
SW: 217
CW: 201
GW: 154 overall,
184 by 09/09/12 as last weigh in before a hol in Greece,
174 by 07/10/12 for this but I have the hol so to have lost 30lbs total by then will only be 187 but I count that as a cheat GW/if I gain GW lol.
So 27lbs to go for real challenge and 14lbs for cheat 30lbs GW.

Wow thats a huge loss - well done!
How demotivating is this thread (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/129498-50-pounds-by-june-1st-challenge) where people still only have 6lb loss on their ticker? many didnt achieve their goal. Well, I guess its kinda motivating because I dont want to be that.0 -

I'm nursing an injury and haven't been able to exercise for a week. Did a few gentle moves this morning to test and I'm not ready yet. Guess I need to wait, as it still hurts to simply walk. (sigh)0 -

Aw Im so glad that so many of you who have found it difficult before are losing this time! For me, Id only lost like 5 or 6 pounds before because I thought that Id stop losing after that but Ive realised that really I gave up before it had any chance to stop itself - if I keep within my cal goals, no matter the treats I actually fit in or how hard it is when theres food everywhere, it works My once 'tight everywhere' trousers are now soooo baggy Im ashamed of wearing them (I didnt buy more cos I secretly thought the next week theyd fit again). Much happiness for what can be done and what we will achieve.0

I am up 2lbs. But I think that it's a fluke. Or it could have been all the water I drank over the very hot sunny weekend we had. Will keep working at it. No stopping me.0

Well, I'm "down" 7 pounds, but not sure how accurate. Just starting so could be since it's common to lose a lot right off (especially those of us that have a significant amount to lose). Also, original weigh-in was probably not the best time of month to weigh (you know what I'm talking about ladies!). And finally, we are out of state and I'm on a different scale. I did check the accuracy of both mine and theirs so it might not make a difference but just logging in case I see a jump next week! However, -7 is motivating as hell and maybe I'll get a more accurate picture when I get home. Or just never know because it's so motivating that I'll have just lost so much over the next few weeks (won't be home until 2nd week of July) I just won't know!
