How single men can seize the opportunity with "Magic Mike"

No, I'm not suggesting you see it.... Not worth the $10 I just paid. I might as well have slipped that $10 in the popcorn guys underwear. It's worse than a porn movie.... not even an attempt at a plot!

So, what I will share is that even at 730 PM on SUNDAY evening, the theater was PACKED full of groups of woman, all shapes, sizes, and ages... something for everyone! Admittedly there were a few guys along for the ride... clearly whipped!

What I will also shared is that I left that theater ON FIRE. It was an awful movie but who can't enjoy Tatum or the hot guy from CSI Miami grinding his junk into some girl's face...arousing to say the least. Women were clapping along, it was a very vocal audience.

So my suggestion for you single guys on the prowl.... find a bar right outside a movie theater. There will be packs of woman coming out of that movie just WAITING for someone to buy them a drink

My two cents... Good Luck!

My friend said the same thing about the movie, that there was absolutely no plot and to not waste money on it. So sad! I have always the hots for Matthew M. myself. I might rent it on Netflix when it comes out just to see how bad it was. :P

I'm in no rush to see it (I'd rather go see Ted), but I do have interest in watching it. SL joked around about how if I went to see it he would go with me to make sure I didn't do anything bad like jump the bones of the nearest guy, haha.

But I'll probably end up seeing it with my girlfriends!

I've been hearing a lot about this... My best friend has been harassing me about it. So I looked into it. I can honestly say that I have no interest in seeing it. I would REALLY like to hit Matthew McConaughey in the face. I don't know why... But that man bugs me.

I can definitely see it being a good place to pick up women whose hormones are going craaazy afterwards, though. Kinda like the effect that Fifty Shades of Grey is having on everyone.

A country bar in Austin used to have VIP nights twice a year. They'd only let women in from 6 - 9 with drink specials, male strippers and all of those in attendance got free admission for the next six months (until the next VIP night). They let the men in at 9pm. It was like being a piece of meat.

Now, if they're coming out of a movie, stone sober, I'm not sure you'd get the same results.

I'll ambush them at a pub near the cinema then, and then they will see me cheering at them and raising my beer, a few drops of which will be dripping on my fat belly...

I didn't say it was the smart option, just an option. Everyone on here is always looking for new ways to meet people  Though amisnercpa is correct and alcohol would help. I'll amend my suggestion to a movie theater that sells alcohol, haha!

Seriously folks, the movie was horrible! I can't get that two hours back. Not even sure I'd waste the $1.15 on Redbox if you can wait until it's on a movie channel, haha. The only reason it's getting attention is peer pressure. I had no interest in the movie but got dragged along with friends. I'd have rather seen Ted! Consider yourselves warned

P.S. Matthew M needs a bag over his head in this movie. He looks so old, like worn out leather... ugh....Punch him, Shammxo!

I actually don't even want to see it, but a bunch of my friends were going Friday so I decided to go along. We ended up not getting to see it and saw something else, but on the way out people were lined up for the next showing -- 95% women. But there was one guy I felt SO bad for. He was probably in his 50s and appeared to be with his wife and daughters. Oy!

I said to a friend a week or so ago that I would put on a Chippendales outfit at wait outside of the theatre exit.

But instead, do it Chris Farley style!!!

LMBO I never can remember how to spell his name either! But I sure do think he is sexy and I don't want to punch him. Maybe it's his Southern accent. And Channing Tatum... wooohoo...

But I probably won't pay to go see the movie. Not really my thing.

I went to the movie with a friend since she was interested in seeing it. I admit it had some nice images but overall the movie was horrible and a complete waste of money.

My interest in the movie begins and ends at Matt Bomer. Can't wait until it comes out on DVD cause I'm certainly not going to PAY haha!

I thought the reaction of the AUDIENCE I was with priceless. I had a blast. The women I were with were giggling like nervous teenagers and there was a vocal group to the upper left of me. The audience participation and seeing Kevin Nash TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY out of his element made the movie worth the matinee price I paid. *shrug* I had fun. My group got flagged down after the movie by some guy there with his girl. "So. Were there any weiners to be seen?" :P

I'd go again. And if I'd had a boyfriend, he absolutely would have been pounced after seeing the show.

I enjoyed it and would go again. I went with my daughter and the gbf....that was pretty much the case through out the theater. It was a blast.

LOL, good suggestion. My girl friend and I took several shots of patron right before the movie and that didn't even help make it better. I loved the cheesy *kitten* dance numbers but the main actress had NO chemistry with Channing and I couldn't stand it when she was on screen. Definitely could have used a few more shots after the movie!

That would be like a guy going to see a Rambo or Expendables movie expecting a plot instead of just an insane number of guns and explosions.

How can you not know about the Expendables? It comes out on my birthday and the day I fly home from Greenland and I fully expect to be in the theaters that night to watch it!

I liked it. Maybe it helped that I went with a group of my best girl friends on opening night and then dinner and drinks afterwards. Fun night!

How many shots does that require?

I know some girls were saying that most girls were squirming in their seats during the movie. It should be easy pickens after the movie.

Gotta agree, but he wasn't in the movie that much so it was good. Can't wait I don't know why he bugs me but he does.

Man oh man...that was one good movie. Channing was good, but omg Alex Pettyfer and Matt Bomer - that is where it's at.
