Monday - 660 cals burn with JMBR workout 1 and cardio 1
Tuesday - 305 cals burn with JMBR workout 2

Treadmill - 60 minutes and 391 calories, plus 85 sit-ups, leg press, and some arms.. feeling good! 118 days til a six-pack.. it's down to the wire now and I have yet to be truly dedicated...0

Today was my strength training day so I only burned 95 calories during my cardio warm up. I am sure I burned calories during my circuit training, but not sure how to measure that -I don't have a HRM:(0

We have some real troopers in this group! If I shot for 1000 calories, I would be wiped out the next day. My fitness level and health issues make calorie burning a real challenge right now...but I get just a little bit better every day. You all are a great inspiration, keep it going!0

I have some catching up to do. Was planning on doing more walking last night and ended up with a migraine. tried JM shred this morning and could on do 8 minutes due to said migraine. I have a meeting until 9 tonight so I will have to get creative on how to make up some caloric burn. Tomorrow I have off work and plan to romp in the pool a bit. That should help... I hope...

Romping around the pool burns more calories than you'd think0 -
MFP also counts cleaning and cooking as cardiovascular. It's not much but when you do a lot of both a day it adds up0

Finally decided to stop making excuses. I was not doing the workouts I wanted because the kids are home, and they can get in the way, or distract me. Today, I decided that if I keep using them as my excuses I am never going to get this weight off, so I popped in my Walk Off the Pounds video and away I went. Here's to keeping it going!0

Happy 4th everyone. I finished my workouts early today. Walked this morning and JMBR this afternoon. Here are my stats:
Walked 40 minutes - 203 cals burned
JMBR cardio 1 - 317 cal burned
So far I've burned a grand total of 1485...that's Mon-Wed
I don't have a HRM so I'm being very conservative with my numbers.0 -
This week's total = 1,019 calories burned so far!0

I am going to jump in and join this challenge a little late. I hope that is okay. I totally got thrown off my rhythym due to the storms we have been having in Virginia. We were out of power for three days and a lot of people are still without power. Everything being a mess was hard but i got back on track.
Yesterday i burned 695 calories doing intervals on my elliptical.
Today i burned 359 calories walking.
I am going to have to kick it into gear to make 3500. I love having a challenge to motivate me!0 -
heres what i have done so far.
Mon: 821 cals burned (easports active on the wii)
Tues: 669 cals burned (keep fit )
Wed: 2261 calories burned (75 min workout on wii)(aerobics class)and 2 hours in the gym
Thur: calories burned (how they were burned)
Fri: calories burned (how they were burned)
Sat: calories burned (how they were burned)
Sun: calories burned (how they were burned)
over by 761 so far
total=37510 -
So afer this week I have burned 2330. I will make the challenge of 3500 this week. My issue is I can't stop eating. I have eaten a total of 6514 calories. I am supposed to have 4800 calories for the last 4 days. So although I have worked out I have eaten every calorie "earned'.
I need to find a way to either work out more or to eat less and since I am hungry all the time I better work out.
Rather discouraged.0 -

Monday: burned 484 calories in the pool
Tuesday: burned 548 calories doing day one shred and then in the pool
Wednesday: burned 495 on day 2 shred and then walking to/from the parade and the fireworks
Total: 1527 in 3 days! Right on track to hit 3500 this week!

So far I'm on 2228...Which I'm quite surprised by as I've been feeling a bit under the weather all week! Good thing I have a dog who needs his walks I guess!

I just found this group and would like to join you all. I don't know if I can burn 3500 calories in a week, but I'm willing to try! Thanks for the suggestions on workouts. That is helpful! Good luck to everyone.
