    I am going to jump in and join this challenge a little late. I hope that is okay. I totally got thrown off my rhythym due to the storms we have been having in Virginia. We were out of power for three days and a lot of people are still without power. Everything being a mess was hard but i got back on track.

    Yesterday i burned 695 calories doing intervals on my elliptical.
    Today i burned 359 calories walking.

    I am going to have to kick it into gear to make 3500. I love having a challenge to motivate me!

    heres what i have done so far.

    Mon: 821 cals burned (easports active on the wii)
    Tues: 669 cals burned (keep fit )
    Wed: 2261 calories burned (75 min workout on wii)(aerobics class)and 2 hours in the gym
    Thur: calories burned (how they were burned)
    Fri: calories burned (how they were burned)
    Sat: calories burned (how they were burned)
    Sun: calories burned (how they were burned)

    over by 761 so far
    total=3751

    So afer this week I have burned 2330. I will make the challenge of 3500 this week. My issue is I can't stop eating. I have eaten a total of 6514 calories. I am supposed to have 4800 calories for the last 4 days. So although I have worked out I have eaten every calorie "earned'.

    I need to find a way to either work out more or to eat less and since I am hungry all the time I better work out.
    Rather discouraged.

    Monday burned 967 C25K, walking, Kinect workout.
    Tuesday burned 1100 C25K, walking, 30 day shred.
    Wednesday burned 839 walking, running, 30 day shred, extra housework ie cleaned windows.

    Wednesday part 2: intervals on my elliptical for 30 minutes=639 calories burned
    Total so far=1693 calories burned
    1807 to go!

    Thanks for this group and this challenge! I am finding it very motivating!

    Monday: burned 484 calories in the pool
    Tuesday: burned 548 calories doing day one shred and then in the pool
    Wednesday: burned 495 on day 2 shred and then walking to/from the parade and the fireworks

    Total: 1527 in 3 days! Right on track to hit 3500 this week!

    Thanks for the thread. Recording my day to day burn is helping me stay motivated.

    Worked out early this morning...errands out all day. Here's what I've done so far (2105 cals burned):

    Mon - 660 - JMBR workout 1, cardio 1
    Tues - 305 - JMBR - workout 2
    Wed - 520 - 40 min walk, JMBR cardio 1
    Thurs 623 - JMBR workout 1, cardio 1

    I'm going to really have to step it up to reach 3500. Can I get it???

    well.. i definiately wont make the cut5 this week.. but imma give it my best shot since the week has almost ended and aim for the 3500 min next week!

    Wow everyone is really owning this challenge!!!!!

    So far I'm on 2228...Which I'm quite surprised by as I've been feeling a bit under the weather all week! Good thing I have a dog who needs his walks I guess!

    Keep moving guys, we can do this!!!

    I do zumba but im going to look into the kettlercise to see if that will help me meet goal. :smile: Thanks for the info.

    I just found this challenge, so I'm a bit late to the game, but I'm going to try to get as much done as possible! Today is a rest day for me, but I'm going to do some cardio, anyhow.

    I just found this group and would like to join you all. I don't know if I can burn 3500 calories in a week, but I'm willing to try! Thanks for the suggestions on workouts. That is helpful! Good luck to everyone.

    ^^ Same here. I'm so glad I found this group. I read a motivational quote a few days ago that said "Make July Your *****" and I totally plan on doing that! ; )
