Sunburn

On Monday I was out in the sun for over 8 hours and I made the mistake of not wearing any sunscreen or suntan lotion. Needless to say, I'm incredibly burnt! I have tried working out since then and have had a lot of trouble. The only thing I've been able to do without being in too much pain is running/walking (until I start sweating and then it stings like crazy!). Has this ever happened to anyone else? Should I take it easy until I'm not in as much pain or should I try and work through it?

I say listen to your body. Do what you can and don't push it. I live in FL and have been sunburned countless times. I understand how uncomfortable it is. you don't want to do more harm by "pushing through it" That is what I think anyway.

thank you, both of you! I appreciate the advice holley75, I was just afraid that I'd get off track if I took it easy but I've been doing everything I'm comfortable doing and hoping the pain goes away soon!
