Don't give up. Just use it to do better next week. Sometimes our bodies go into shock like... what the heck are you doing to me.
Also, make sure to drink lots of water. :drinker: Think of it as "flushing" out your system.0 -
I see some serious losers! Isn't that great to be called that?!?
I also see some folks who are struggling. Keep it going. The program will work, if you work the program!

Good morning everyone!! Happy Sunday! Here are my numbers for the week: Down 2.4lbs this week.

GW for challenge: 247 <-(mini goal- to be under 250 lbs)

I did not loose a single pound this past week. Still weigh 204.
Stay The Same for me as well but I know Ive been doing bad things so Im only allowing myself any treats on every second day, going to weigh from share bags and cutting out certain treats all together from now on. Also upping fruit and veg.
Getting back on it - PROPERLY - with my diet.
I would swear to do certain exercise but its crunch time for study around my full time job so I just cant promise anything because I have grossly under estimated how long it takes. Like i thought Id get an essay, a math project and another coursework done this weekend because theyre not that detailed but Im dealing with some new learning difficulties so I only did 90% of one coursework over the two days but this will only last like a week/10 days so as long as I control what I can atm (food) I can feel better and hopefully get back on track for the challenge and my mini goals.

Had to splurge and purchased a slightly smaller size of jeans. My current ones were falling off of me after a half days use. :bigsmile: Yay! Hope my cheap jeans last me until I can make into my other smaller jeans.0

But here is the good bit. I began Insanity three weeks ago,(a big thank you to this group for getting me off my butt and beginning it) and while I have not lost any significant weight I do see a difference in my body. It is as if my body is shifting all around (maybe the fat is being transferred to other areas - LOL) . So, I will take it. I took measurements last week - finally. So, I plan to check them over the weekend. I will let you know. And for a small victory, three weeks ago I could not do a single pushup - but yesterday I did 10!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!

Remember to do measurements as well...sometimes inches are coming even if the pounds aren't..I do measurements on the 1st of the month just to keep and eye on where things are at. Especially those of you doing shreds or weights!!!

The scale can actually be your worst enemy while trying to lose weight. You need to remember that different factors affect your weight. First of all, make sure you are weighing on the same scale...same spot....same time of day each time you weigh. Second, if you are sticking to your plan and not cheating, your weight will still fluctuate daily. Your weight could be affected by stress, water retention, adjustment periods, your cycle and many other factors. If you are following all your rules and you don't think it is any of the above factors, you may just need to shock your system. You can do this by changing something in your diet or exercise program. Please don't give up!! We all have bad weeks...I just had one myself. I didn't weigh in at all last week and have yet to weigh in this week. I know I am losing inches, but I am not sure about the weight. I am not going to stress over it right now. Keep on keeping on!!!0
