It's the largest comic convention! Though it's become more of a pop culture thing (Twilight, true bloo, glee, *GAG*), there's still tons of nerdy happiness :D I've been going every year for 11 years now :D

I assume the male-female at Comic Con isn't that great. Probably way more males than females. Also, probably a lot of dorky single guys. Likely would be a field day for a woman who was into dorky guys.

Yes, that would probably work well for you Kate.

I do my best to avoid situations of an unfavorable male-female ratio, though that is more difficult to do for men.

I like exercise classes, because most of those skew female.

I went to a comic con in the UK!
Not many women (although probably more than I thought) but a lot of very scantily dressed women!
To be honest, I wasn't really there to hit on women, but I must say it could have worked quite a bit.

    Yes!! New plan

I can definitely understand keeping the competition low -- I do the same thing!

It's not really a run, it's an escape. They said you should never have to do more than a jog to get away from the zombies but they encourage you to climb, hide, etc. It looked like fun! Just way too expensive.

I know. I kind of don't like that it's trendy now :< I like me some nerds.

I don't really care what the ratio is. I do things that I like because I enjoy them and that makes me happy. If I meet someone there then cool, but my life doesn't revolve around finding a partner.
