Hello! I am 22, 5'5 and 155 pounds. I'm not fat, but I need to tone up! I joined MFP about 2 months ago, and I really find it helpful. Up until about 3 weeks ago, I was doing Jillian Michaels Body Revolution. Now, I'm training for a 5k; I HATE running so that was my way of forcing myself into doing it anyways. Currently, I run 3 times per week, do Body Revolution 2 days a week, power walk one day, and give myself a rest day. My current eating strategy is to net 1614 (aka my BMR) and less than my TDEE. I've been doing that for a bit now, but no weight loss so far. I've toned up a bit, but I still need to lose some flab. Any tips/advice are welcome!

Hey there, I am in the same boat as you. I have only been at it hardcore for about 3 weeks. So far I have already noticed some weight loss on my stomach and my legs feel stronger/more stable. I try to do as wide a variety of exercises as possible. This way I work different muscles daily, and keep from getting bored. I work out six days a week for about 45-60 minutes a day. I like to run, jump rope, play dance dance revolution, hike, biking, and do some drop- in fitness classes( I do yoga, a core workout class and strength training at my local gym). Maybe you will find you get more results if you switch it up a bit?0
