Good morning everyone,
I decided to post a new topic for the day because I already feel like it's going to be another 10 for me. I woke up at 5:30 when my husband got up to go to work (I usually don't until 7:30 or so), downloaded Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred onto Vudu and cranked away my first workout on that DVD.
MAN, was I sweating!! I didn't realize how quickly 20 minutes of working out like that could bring me to such a state.
So anyhow - feeling good about myself today - and I just want to send happy weight loss and exercise vibes out to all those who need that extra step of motivation today. You can DO it!

I'm feeling physically better each day. I am having a 10 of a day also. Each day is a new day and a another day to combat negative thinking about anything that has to do with this subject. Some of the struggles I have is comparing myself with others, I'm not enough, fear of food, body image and so forth. I'm sure I am not the only one that stuggles with these self defeating thoughts. ALthough I am having 10's one day at a time, the other crap is still in my head. Please pray for me for relief from these negative thoughts.0

trapperanne, it is so easy to compare ourselves with others. I learned long ago, that what we see might not be the way it really is! So I have learned gratitude for who and what I am. I will keep good thoughts for you that you will learn this lesson. As I used to tell all they young girls that my daughter hung out with that had low self esteem. Look yourself in the mirror every day and tell you that you are beautiful and wonderful.0

I too struggle with all the same thoughts. They think I'm ugly. They think I'm fat. They think I'm stupid.... I look in the mirror and see my mother (who neglected and mentally abused me) and I don't want to look like her (I'm proud to say I've been a great mom because of her). No one else sees her but ME apparently. It's a struggle that I don't think I'll ever get over. It was a lifetime of abuse from within my home, school and neighborhood. But each day I put one foot forward and go forward. Each pound lost is a boost to my self esteem. My family liftsme up when I'm down. I know I'm going to be ok. You'll be ok too! God made you and he doesn't make garbage or mistakes!! You (and I) are perfect in His eyes. One day at a time my friend!! (((hugs)))0

You are rocking. Thank you for your incentive today. I am looking for a 10 today also. I'm taking it 1 minute at a time just for today! The days keep adding up! Your's will to if you can carry a positive attitude one day at a time! BOL0
