Hi ladies,
Any one out there back to work and doing night shifts? I know half my battle is fatigue when it comes to weight loss, ugh. Any tips?

Yes. My biggest problem is that I pump at lunch so I don't have time to warm up what I eat. I end up eating mostly snack type items I can keep in my cooler.

I also have a problem going back to sleep after I get up to pump around noon.

sjenny, what about bringing salads, pita sandwiches, or wraps for lunch?

ediioia, if you just started back it may take your body some time to adjust to your new schedule. Make sure the room you sleep in is very dark and as quiet as possible. when you wake up drink a cup of hot water and lemon (it is suppose to jump start your digestive track).

Night shift is hard with little ones! I worked 12 hour nights but it wasn't so bad because my toddler was a great napper. He would sleep 2 hours in the morning and another 2 in the afternoon. I always slept when he did. Some days I would put the baby gate up in the living room and lay on the couch and doze while he played on the floor next to me. Right now I have a 2 yo and a 7 month old. I think I will be going back to work in the fall, but now I will be doing 60 hour shifts once or twice a month. My best advice is sleep when you can!
