So I've noticed that when I work out, I earn extra calories. Does that mean I'm supposed to eat those extra calories? Or continue eating my regular amount of calories and have an overage?

I don't know. You may need to ask the community for that one.

I've seen on other boards that it varies. Most seem to eat them back, if they can. Others choose to leave them. I try to burn at least 400 cals a day through exercise, some days up to 1200. I eat back what I can, but it depends on how bad (sweets) I've been for the day =)

I eat them back because I feel as though I earned another 300 calories. I try to stay under my calorie count, but sometimes I go over. :grumble: You will notice that if you don't eat enough calories, even the computer will tell you that you are depriving yourself. Don't starve!

This is a lifestyle change, not a life of starvation.

I have 20 pounds to go!
  • This really helps because I had the same question. Most days I stay under as well because of the exercise. But today, which was a bad and hectic day, I ate over the amount I was supposed to AND I ate pretty bad..............fried food YIKES!!!!! lol
