    Went to my gym induction under that Healthwise scheme earlier today - i was kinda dreading it but excited too, the last time i went to Darwen Leisure Centre it was the old one (before the swimming pool caved in!) and when i used to go there the gym consisted of 3 running machines, 1 Rowing machine, 2 (usually broken) exercise bikes and some weights and a mat chucked in the corner!! Dance music booming out, and the regular lycra clad svelte few fighting over the working equipment.

    The new centre is HUGE! loads of machines, and hell I can even watch Big Bang Theory whilst I cycle! get in! :glasses:

    I was born in Lancaster and lived in Morecambe until my early 20's...still have family in that area, and I soooo love going back. I now live in the Hereford/ Worcester area, but will always be a Lancashire lass :)

    Yet another Wirralian here!! Although I live in Glasgow now, but I'm back down pretty often.

    My (Scottish) boyfriend's convinced there's a Wirral conspiracy going on, because we're everywhere... Says he can't listen to the radio, watch Tv or go anywhere without SOMEONE from the Wirral popping up!! And now I 've told you, you'll all notice too! (he's also convinced there's a call centre on the Wirral somewhere full of people who's job it is to call into radio stations day & night... Yeah really!!!)

    I haven't got the heart to tell him it's not a conspiracy, and that we actually are taking over the planet, one peninsula at a time!!!
