I did not write how many calories I was consuming before I started counting. I imagine it was a lot. This is my second day and I am feeling grouchy and light headed. I am assuming this is due to the drastic change in my diet. Has anyone else experienced this? Will it fade over time?

How many calories are you eating now?

I was alloted a little over 1300 but I changed my goal to allow me more. I feel way better now, I think my body was just adjusting.

make sure you are getting enough water. That is a big one for me. I feel the effects of too little water way faster than too little food.
  • I definitely agree with getting enough water, however, if you are getting enough water my next concern would be your blood sugar. If the light headedness continues it might not be a bad idea to go to the doctor and get a blood test done. I hope everything works out for you!
