How many of us grew up with these? I remember watching them growing up and in Seminary.

So, what is your favorite old LDS film?

I have to say that "The Phone Call" is by far my favorite. Though I do have to say that there are a couple of them that have really stuck with me.

  • On the way home. The missionaries showed me that one when I was investigating the church and I bawled my eyes out on that one.

That was one from the early 90's, right? If it is the one I am thinking of, you are right, it is excellent.
  • I first saw it in 1994. It was great.

The Phone Call was really good. I also love Johnny Lingo!

I think that Johnny Lingo was one of the "go-to" movies for a long time. Another of my favorites: The Touch of the Master's Hand

Did anybody else do home study seminary in the 70's? There was a filmstrip about Tom Trails... they were classics!

hrmmmm... I'm not familiar with that one.

I was one of the lucky ones to live in the SLC area and we were able to have seminary during the regular class rotation with early morning as an option. We did watch a lot of the old films, but that one isn't striking any bells with me.
