Anyone else worry about never living to see their grandkids? I have high blood pressure, insulin resistance, and bad cholesterol, plus asthma and some other stuff. I'm trying so hard to get healthy, but with my kids at only 6 and 3, I wonder if I will live long enough.

  • I have the same worry as you do. I have three children, 10, 8 and 6. In May of this year, I had a heart attack. I am only 32 years old. I was diagnosed with cardiac arterial spasms and high cholesterol. I have know since I was a really young age that I have a family history of cardiac problems, but I blew it off like I was going to be the exception to the rule. As we know life doesn't always go that way. I worry every day that I may never see my grandchildren. I also know that if I don't change my habits, I won't see them or my 40th birthday.
