HELP: Spare tire in need of removal
This group was created after a sugar detox was proposed at CrossFit Aevitas. Some need help with other things aside from JUST sugar intake (i.e. portion control, getting the right proportions of macros, moving more, cutting back on the adult beverages, weight loss, watching salt intake, drinking enough water, getting big ol' thighs, etc.).
The goal is to have a place for us all to communicate, share info, look for supports, ask questions, provide motivation, and everything else regardless of what our individual goals are.
What is great about myfitnesspal as a tool is that you can customize the tool to look at the nutrients that you are concerned about (fat, sugar, salt, protein, calcium, etc), you can track your body measurements and weight, you can blog, you can track your exercise (how many cals do I burn at Crossfit?), and you can look up and track foods. Basically, it is a tool that you can use to look at what you are doing to your body and how you can/might adjust to meet your goals.
Lisa and I (Chia) will be posting discussion topics, movement challenges, and other helpful items along the way to keep us all motivated.
And, if you don't want to do something here that is suggested, then don't. As much as this is a group, this is something you are doing for you. Everyone is different and needs different things. Also, feel free to provide suggestions for anything we do here.
