214 Fitness End of Summer Challenge
Welcome to 214 Fitness! We are so excited you decided to join our 30 Day Fitness and Nutrition Challenge. We know that the next 30 days will provide you challenges, obstacles, and maybe some frustration. We are here to get through this together! You will find encouragement from others to help you along the way. We are here to be accountable to each other!
Rules!
As with any challenge, we have to set some ground rules. The rules are simple, simple, simple!
1. First and foremost, you must have FUN! Do not put too much pressure on yourself to meet your goals. You will achieve them much faster if you focus on having fun during this 30 Day Challenge.
2. You must participate! We are here to encourage one another to meet our goals. We are a Team! This means you must respond to post and/or write an encouraging post yourself.
3. NO EXCUSES! We all lead busy lives and sometimes that gets in the way of our goals. Often times, we fail because we make excuses for the why. Put the excuses to the side for 30 Days so you can see and feel the results!

Tracking food.
The best way to make changes in the way you eat is to know what you are eating. Tracking your food intake is a great way to see what you are eating each day. Therefore, we will be using the MYFITNESSPAL.COM to log our meals and exercises daily.
Workouts.
We will also log our workouts in MYFITNESSPAL.COM. Workouts can consist of steps counted, walking, running, lifting, etc. Each event must be a cumulative of 30 minutes per day to count as a workout. We will have one group workout each week. If you are unable to participate with the group, we can try to schedule an individual session. This option is available only if the requested scheduled time is open.
Participation.
CREATE A DAILY POST. Post can be anything from your workout, your motivation tips, any obstacles you may be facing, favorite recipe, a lovely quote, or about how your challenge is going.
ATTEND WEEKLY MEETINGS. These meetings are designed to keep us on track and motivated going into the next week. We will discuss our challenges and successes from the past week, join in a short workout demonstrate a recipe, and set goals for the next week.
LOG WORKOUTS AND MEALS DAILY. These will provide me with information to help guide you through the 30 Day Challenge. You will receive feedback from me on what you are doing well and what you could improve on. This is meant to be a positive venue for you to be successful.
Because this is a challenge, what would a challenge be if there weren’t a prize at the end! We all love rewards, right?! This is a point based system to ensure you are fully participating. The point system will be discussed later.
