STANSIL HEALTH CHALLENGE

So excited for us all to get healthy mentally physically and spiritually. I hope you will join us for round 1 of the Stansil Health Challenge.  A few key points to remember -Although there is a financial incentive, the main goal is a lifestyle change and for us to introduce healthy habits into our lives that are sustainable. - This challenge is designed to meet everyone where they are. There are several ways to gain points throughout this challenge and you are not required to fulfill each category in order to win the challenge. DO WHAT FEELS COMFORTABLE FOR YOU AND KNOW THAT WE ARE HERE AS A FAMILY IF YOU NEED SUPPORT.
WITH THAT BEING SAID HERE ARE THE CHALLENGE PARAMETERS - Each participant will contribute $20 for the challenge buy in. (Directions on that will be forthcoming). -You will be getting a spreadsheet shortly that will help you track your points. Send in your spreadsheet weekly and we will announce the leader monthly. - We are also asking everyone to download the my fitness pal app and make sure under community then group section you join the Stansil Health Challenge Group. This will also be a resource where you can keep track of points and receive challenge updates-Whoever has the most points at the end of the 6 months will take the cash prize. -There will be workouts, tips. recipes sent throughout to give additional resources-There will also be weekly health support education call. If you have topics you want to cover please feel free to email or text with suggestions- You are going to need to keep track of your own points but we are asking every one to download the myfitnesspal alpp aHere are all the ways you can earn points1. point for every 5000 steps you get in a day2. point for each workout for at least 30 mins3. 1 point for consuming at least 6 glasses of water4. 1 point for Attending weekly group call5. 1 point for 15 min of breathing and meditation exercises6. 1 point for every home cooked meal7. 1 point for every serving of fruit8. 1 point for every vegetable serving9.  Bonus points for meatless meals10. 1 point for each night you get a least 7 hrs of uninterrupted sleep11. 1 point. for each day you spend at least 15 mins outside 12. 1 point for every meatless meal13. 1 point for going to the doctor and getting your yearly bloodwork and checkup14. 1 point each day of no smoking15. 1 point each day of no drinking16. 1 point for journaling17. 1 point for every pound lost (this will be tracked weekly and not daily)18. 1 point for every inch lost (this will be tracked weekly and not daily)
