So at this point in my training I'm starting to hit that 2 hour mark and its time to try out some energy gels! I was told to try a few different ones to see which ones work best for me so I bought a few different ones but I was wondering what ones you guys think work best for you?
My plan is the one that was sent to me by the organisers. Its a beginners schedule that involves 3 runs during the week and then a long run at the weekend. I like the fact that it mixes up some speed work with standard runs. You can see it here…
After my first longish run today (7 miles) I came across the old enemy blisters! Has anyone got any good advice about how to deal with them - to pop or not to pop etc. Or is it just a case of man up and carry on?
