I have been on again off again on MyFitnessPal for years. I'm hoping this will be a fresh new start. Hey! Here's hoping right?
I'm not new to lifestyle change or the weight loss goals.
I am a mom of 4 children and 1 furry child (my service dog Hershey). I am a Medical Assistant. I'm not as active as I once was.
I am almost 2 years post Gastric-sleeve surgery and I still say it was THE BEST decision that I made for myself. I am not to my goal yet, but that doesn't mean it's not still within reach.
HW: 330
CW: 230
SW: 295
GW: Between 130-150 lbs. Wherever I feel most healthy & confident.
Goals: To increase water intake to at LEAST 64 oz a day a MAX of 100 ozs a day.
Increase protein to 20-30 gram per meal
Stay in a caloric deficit to burn what I eat
Increase step counts (currently working a desk job), get to the gym 2-3 days per week for both cardio and strength workouts.
Mostly, feel good about myself and celebrate the small wins.
Short term goal: Get below 200 lbs
