Its nice enough that i will have it four days in a row, really filling, full of good stuff and low enough in cals that you can add nice things to it to make it a bit special.
-
Ive lost a stone (14lbs) it is possible but harder than perhaps for most people. Keep at it and you will see results just steel yourself for a lot of maintaining
-
Just had leftovers for lunch and it was devine!

Walk in the rain, i live in the Uk 3 mile round trip to work and back! Rained this morning and i cracked on.

Surely weightloss is calorie in and calorie out, it doesn't matter what you are eating as long as you are in deficit Eating more doesn't really explain anything
-
"It's too hard" basically. I don't think i looked bad at 15stone, i carried it well, i have good cheek bones so my face never looked fat, i could shop easily on the high street mostly (i have an enormous chest but that's my entire family). Then i would "start Monday" be done with it by Wednesday. I am very good at being…

Dropped into the 13 stone range and hit my 10,000 steps everyday last week. Makes up for the fact i probably drank that lb back on yesterday :expressionless:
-
Why not post pics and look at them side by side. 100lbs is a huge loss, there will be a difference
-
Alright fine, i'll stop bitching
-
I think that's "free". Though i love smoked mackerel
-
Yes i know that but my point is i am working to a cal deficit and lucky to see 2lbs come off after planning my meals, these people just start eating pasta and mince and they lose 7lbs. IT'S NOT FAIRRRRRR
-
Its the people losing between 3 and 10 lbs a week that gets me...i shouldn't compare, slow and steady is better etc etc but...seriously
-
Glad someone is here doing the same thing i am, congrats on you weightloss.

They still do Green and Red days. Just seems the "moderation" part isn't really pushed, a friend of mine was in a group with a woman that was eating 6/7 Muller Lights a day and not understanding why she wasn't losing.
-
Interesting to hear from people it hasn't worked for. A lot of people do seem to spend time trying to not eat their syns too which seems to defeat the object.
-
Sounds to me that way madness lies. Group leaders don't seem to know much about anything from what i have heard. Bit odd.
-
They do encourage you to have a 3rd of your plate as "super free" food which is very low cal veg, i would assume this is to curb how much tagliatelle you're scarfing down
-
Stone is 14lbs so yes 19kgs :) So in just over 3 months you have lost 2stone, that's great and i am very jealous.
-
The plan has helped me make better choices to stay fuller i have to say, plus curbing my bread eating. When i was counting calories before i was trying to eat how i always ate but with smaller portions and it made me miserable whereas this way is making me think about eating more veg (i don't care for fruit really, i'll…

That is hilarious! IT'S SCIENCE, EAT YOUR QUARK! I just can't understand how some people have lost 3 stone in 13 weeks, it's madness though maybe you are right. I know it isn't "magic" but it's something.
-
Haha i like it too! I always refer to myself as being a tantruming toddler because i can't have junk when i want it if i still want to be full.
-
As an ex nurse and kennel worker (and adult) i don't recoil at the idea of poo. You did make me laugh though
-
Thank you, i think that might be the issue too, i don't usually have as many "convenience foods" as i have had recently, i have packed up half the kitchen and lacking motivation and energy to fish everything back out! I shall keep up the water intake and see how things look in a few days. Thank you :)

iK NOW I WI I know i will get there eventually but it is tough, i think i am putting pressure on myself as a i have a wedding in July to go to and i want to look great, seeing 3lbs appear out of no where does get that little voice in your head saying "why are you bothering" and i would be easier to pack it all in but i am…
-
I don't have unreasonable expectations, like i said, i have lost 14lbs but this is the first huge (in my head!) fluctuation i have seen and wanted reassurance is was ok.
-
I know you are right but if i don't weight myself i start worrying i am just piling weight on even if i am sticking to the right cals, its an anxiety thing i guess
-
I had said i knew it wasn't food. I don't enjoy the process of dieting because i enjoy food and to achieve my weightloss goals i have to stop eating the things i like in the volumes i did, its hard to switch your habits and physiological relationship with food as i am sure the majority of people would be able to symapthise…
-
I suppose it was just a bit of a smack in the face as i have struggled the last few weeks, i am not enjoying the process at all and a few losses would have been a nice pick me up.
-
Fair point i suppose, this is the first time since i have been really sticking to dieting that this sort of fluctuation has happened to me, last year i had pretty constant loss and now i am 14lbs lighter its got much much harder...or i am just expecting too much
-
I have had retention explained to me on my wall, i had some ready meals and takeaways this weekend as well as salty popcorn and tortillas so i think the salt intake has skewed everything somewhat! I'll just keep drinking water and hope for better news next weigh in i guess. The perils of being addicted to weighing every…
