The app can be pretty overwhelming for people new to the app and those not so hot with IT, but after a few weeks you'll get used to it and be a pro. I'd recommend just playing around in the app to see how things work and what features it offers.

I've found that recording the positive things in a page on my phone helps. Everyday I've been writing all the positives in a short paragraph, like, hit x amount of steps, ate under my calorie goals, seen friends, etc. It's much more effective and healthy to focus on the positives.
