I like my Fitbit quite a bit. I have the flex and it seems to do a good job of accurately measuring my steps. The iPhone app is pretty good too.

I'd say both. I really struggled to get water in at first but you just have to keep at it. Good luck!

I love the venting! That is too much to have to deal with at once but, because that's how life goes, good for you for venting and feeling and not eating. Go home and own your hotness. You've earned it!

I think one thing that has helped me is to give myself permission to be frustrated and upset so long as that doesn't translate into bingeing. One of the most important things I have learned is to let myself feel how I feel and not try to smother the feelings with chocolate. Stalls will come. Its how we react that really…

Its so interesting how different we all are. I am short (5'3") and just beginning to think about 10's at 164 pounds.

Its so hard! And "formal" dresses are the worst. I am in my cousin's wedding in June and I had to order my dress in February. I ordered a size lower than I measured. The alterations person told me that dresses can be taken in two full sizes before they lose shape so I am hoping for the best. Good luck!

I eat out a lot and I have found burgers without buns, steak (when you're ready), grilled chicken and other protein rich foods are pretty easy to manage. I also find that I think about what I am or am not eating far more than my dining companions do. I bring food home and eat it for a later meal but I don't stress out if I…

That's so exciting! Congratulations!!!!!

Nicely done!!

A huge difference in only 10 months! You'll get to where you want to be.

That is awesome. Can you believe you were carrying "them" around all the time?!? Congratulations!
-
Thanks guys!!

So normal! It'll get better but might not completely go away. Just make sure you don't mistake those rumbles for hunger. There's a definite difference and you'll learn to tell them apart.

Thanks for all the kind words!!

Thanks everyone! Your support along the way has been a big help!

I have found that its harder for me to remain focused now that I have had some success. I bought a summer dress 2 sizes smaller than my clothes now and I have it hanging on my bedroom door to help push me when I am feeling the munchies or the lazies. I 2nd tat2, try and remember how you felt when you started this. Get out…

Thanks! I'll be 6 months out on Tuesday from my sleeve. Its been great.

I can't take credit for figuring it out--I think that was Thaeda, but I'm glad to share the knowledge.

If you add the calories so it will post you can go back after it posts and delete them and it still keeps the announcement on the news feed.

Blend canned meat (ham or chicken--it looks awful but tastes pretty good) with cream soups. You can add protein powder to it too if you want. I lived off this for my pureed stage.

I think my issue with this comes from a lifetime of not having enough in a lot of areas and trying to get all that I could. I remember one time when my mother and I were both doing Weight Watchers and we were having yogurts for breakfast my mom made a point of reminding me to lick the lid of the yogurt because "we were…

I'd be interested in joining!

I'm super picky too. I stick with chicken/turkey, beef and pork. If I am making hamburger helper for my daughter, i pull out a few ounces of the ground beef for me to eat plain or with melted cheese. I use my crockpot a ton to cook roasts. I have found that Dannon 2x protein greek yogurt is a real help too. Look at labels…

I am almost 6 months out. I hit right around 800-900 a day.

The two week out stall is very, very common. Your body is adjusting to its new normal and it freaks out a little. Just keep on the plan and it will pass. Focus on water and protein but it sounds like you're doing great.

Fantastic!

I've told most everyone. I feel like I want to be an advocate for surgery and not give people a false sense of expectations. I'm not losing this weight through simple diet and exercise. I have this other, fantastic, tool that is an essential part of my success. I have found that people are generally very supportive. I…

I never ate breakfast before my surgery. Now I eat a Dannon Light and Fit Greek yogurt pretty much every day at my desk. I like to mix a scoop of protein powder in it. Together its 22 grams of protein to start the day.

It's the best feeling! How exciting for you!
