I'm 5 foot 1, right now I am 167. Wear 18 (but may be going down to 16) pants, Large tops. Starting weight for weight loss was 180 .....Prior to gaining all the weight, I was a size 8 or 10 in pants, small in tops and weighed 130.

Great goal! By 2015 I want to be 163, like MFP says I should be. But.... it's been saying that for over 5 weeks! Need to break out of a 5 week plateau

Apples, green tea, are supposed to cut hunger. If you are not full eat something like tuna to fill up. If its sugar / salt cravings you get at night...sometimes it's best just to go to sleep.

vitamin B6 gives me energy, vitamin A (prescribed) 5000 iu , ubiquinol, and calcium. I have to take the A and calcium together as the doctor said the calcium helps absorption or something like that.

A few squares of dark chocolate/cacao. Noosa yogurt- love it. I used to do cottage cheese with a tsp of honey and mangos.

Almonds, ate them by the handful....thought they were healthy and low cal....not

I'm just starting out on this for about 8 weeks now, but I find if I eat more calories morning and afternoon, I'm pretty full by dinner and dinner then fills me up to go thru the night.

My daughter lives raw to 4. She lost 30 pounds in about 8 months. She has a lot of energy. She's maintaining now as she has lost the weight she needed, but stays on the plan. I did it for 5 weeks and lost 15 pounds (put stalled the last 2 weeks). The first 2 weeks is like a cleanse to your system. I felt wonderful on the…

Get medical and psychological attention. I don't see these forums staffed with professionals who can help in these types of matters, it's mostly people trying to lose weight or build up muscle. YOu are not trying to do either.

This resonates. My promotion involved moving & leaving my support system, managing more people-fine , it was the peer and subordinant jealousies that they or their spouse/friend didn't get the job, backstabbing, sabotage, egotism...all that kind of nastiness. I didn't deal with it well, gained a cortisol driven belly, and…

I can see my waist again, and the belly sack is deflating....not flat but deflating....

Instead of mayo in the tuna, try plain greek yogurt. might cut out a few calories

I'm betting it's caffeine withdrawal.

Thank you! I just did fitness bender one! Its great! Thanks!

Me too. As soon as I cut out the refined sugar, flour/pasta etc., fruit tasted much better. But I ate a LOT of sugar and junk so I'm sure my tastebuds were messed up.

Target tuna is much cheaper than grocery store. You can get the large can of tuna for 2.50 If you can buy canned food, paper products, soap, dish-soap etc. at target you will get a much better price

Thank you!

I am grateful that I am getting healthier and have the determination to stay so. I am grateful that my parents are still here, that I have a crazy kind of odd brother, a kind and loving child and two sweet spoiled dogs that follow me everywhere and think I am the best person on earth. I am grateful that we hold each other…

My daughter did / still does Raw to four. She has lost 30 pounds over 6 months, she's much healthier, and she does not crave junk. Now, she does go out with friends on weekends (now that she's down in weight) and she does have pizza or whatever she wants on the weekends out. But, she's not as hungry and she eats less. I am…

I left the frozen pies in the freezer...I don't see them. Everything else I threw in the trash - a LOT of stuff (2 garbage bags)....but it made a statement in my mind. I don't buy it so I have no temptation. My mom can't even be in the store around it, she has to avoid the aisles, if it's anywhere in the house she eats it,…

When I hit 180, when I couldn't walk to the car without getting winded, when I saw a sac hanging instead of a stomach, when size 18W pants started to get tight....I knew if I kept gaining it would be all over and possibly no coming back.

I'm not on 21 day fix, but I am doing 1200 calories a day with a goal of losing 40-50 pounds. 13 so far in 4 weeks. I'd be happy to support you on your journey. Feel free to add me!

I'm grateful for my family, my dogs, ...and my treadmill..

I love organic banana and Lactaid milk in my steel cut oatmeal. Yuuuummm. Sometimes substitute mango or blueberries for the banana...but not often!

I had a manual they are junk. If you are looking to save space, buy one an electric one with the running deck that folds up to the handlebars. Proforma has one. Electric has various programs to give you a variety of workouts, tells you calories burned, miles, time etc.
-
Awful...awful, save your money buy an electric one.

Amazing stories, we all struggle, we all have good days bad days, you MUST have a deficit to lose weight, 1200 calories is very filling when you CHOOSE the right foods, vegies, fruits, fish don't leave you feeling hungry. Start slow, take it easy, get tips from your MFPs, it's easy to track your foods/use the bar scanner…

Everyone has those days and it's ok. It's ok to feel that way. I know I do, and I find myself arguing with myself to "DO" just get up and do something...so I trick myself by saying...ok I'm just going to do 5 minutes of activity to get my blood moving...then 5 minutes goes by and I'm already feeling better in my mind and…

Ahhh don't get depressed. Do a little each day and revel in what you do. Maybe vitamin B stress tabs might help? If you do just 5, then 10 minutes of movement at a time, and throughout the day....it might make you feel better and eat less. I read that the best thing for stress is yoga, you concentrate on the hard…

I make it easy on myself, practically the same thing every day...I know exactly how many calories. I'm staying off sugar and processed foods as much as possible. It helps me in not eating more than I should.
