So today I tried on my goal t shirt and it was too small for me. Sickened I never got wear it!

Haha well everyone I was out with was saying there was no way I'd be able to resist it after a night on the beer so I think it was more stubbornness than willpower!

Went to McDonald's drunk and came out with nothing but a cup of water

Managed 10 consecutive pull ups at the gym today, a couple of months ago 2 was a struggle.

Try joining clubs and doing things you enjoy. You'll meet loads people with similar interests and who knows what can happen. At 19 I felt the exact same way as you, but I met a girl when I just turned 20 and least expected it. Don't judge yourself on it, it doesn't mean you aren't worth it, just that you haven't met the…

Full Irish breakfast every morning and about 12 pints a day for 2 weeks = 4kg gain

Is it possible the scale is inaccurate? Sounds like a lot of waterweight but I can't see how it could be fat!

Feel free to add me, I have an open diary and knowing people will see it helps motivate me not to overeat... seeing other people's progress is also a good motivator!

60g of porridge with chopped banana, and 2 boiled eggs. 550 kcal I think, but keeps me full for ages!

2200 kcal + lifting is working for me, I'm down from about 100 to 90.7 in about 10 weeks. I'm thinking of 88kg as a final goal weight, I'm curious what other guys around 183cm/6FT are aiming for? Once you start seeing your body change you will find it easy to stay motivated, and don't let one bad day ruin you, I've hit…

Discovered a stretch mark on my bicep... guess you can lose fat and build muscle at the same time!

Lose 2.5 kg, reach goal weight, and be ready to start maintenance/bulking over the Christmas period (cause there's no way in hell I'll manage a deficit then!)

count me in, no harm in having more accountability  24M in Ireland

Hi Vismal, first of all thanks for taking the time to answer so many questions, I've learned a lot from this thread. I was wondering are there any foods you'd recommend that have helped you feel fuller for longer? I'm on 2200kcal a day, which is a reasonably high calorie allowance (6ft, 201lb M), but I still find myself…

I've had the same problem as OP. For as long as I can remember, I hated every vegetable except carrots. What I've tried to do is eat vegetables mixed in with other foods where the taste is masked, for example curries, stew or chilli. What really worked for me was chopping things like onions and tomatoes REALLY fine, that…

Thanks for the responses. I use a food scale at home, I had no idea how measuring solid foods accurately in a cup was supposed to work! it was just to have a rough idea of portion size when eating out. I find it hard to guess how many grams something weighs by looking at it I was thinking estimating how many cups it might…

I'm from Ireland and had never heard of a cup or oz being used to measure food before seeing this site (or lb to measure weight). OP I use on online calculator or a mobile app to convert US or UK units to metric quickly, Google is your friend.

Good effort, just a couple of kgs off being in that shape myself so its definitely motivating!
-
Great job! Nice to see someone else using metric units so the numbers actually mean something to me B)

A chicken baguette made from a 1.3kg rotisserie chicken and an 800g French baguette, and still had a choc-ice afterwards. Another time I ate a whole 454g block of cheese like a chocolate bar for lunch.
