Down 110 pounds in a year. Went from hardly being able to go up a flight of stairs to doing bike races... Simply by cutting the junk and keep in my calories in check. And pedaling. ;)

Definitely keep it in the higher zones... don't drop to the "fat burn" zone... Do some searching on HIIT.... it's worked wonders for me for the last two months! (down 50 pounds)

OP - sounds like you need to add some HIIT (high intensity interval training). There are a lot of good, recent article on HIIT, fat loss and the after burner effect.
