Omg I'm sorry but I just laughed so hard! That's totally something I would do!!!! I'm tempted to make some keto ice cream myself. I've heard it can be made in a vitamix blender with a ton of ice and cream and whatever flavour, I might try that because I haven't frozen the insert to my ice cream maker. I want peanut butter…

Well, I'll save the details but before keto I was a disaster on shark week. You name the symptom, I had it. Since keto I find that time to be a breeze; I get very few PMS symptoms now.

I'm making fathead pizza tonight, so excited!! I have almond flour for a lot of recipes. I usually look at two blogs. All day I dream about food and I breathe I'm hungry. Often I find almond flour used in many of their recipes. I've made keto flatbread, lemon squares, cinnamon twists, pumpkin cheesecake muffins. All…

Speaking of butter... You know you are LCHF when a stick of butter is bought at every grocery store trip, because, butter is life.

!!!!!!!!! Why has this never occurred to me?! I freaking love PB!! Guess what I'm doing tomorrowwwwwwwwwww!

You consider a "light breakfast" as putting coconut oil and butter in your coffee. You go out for breakfast and order a loaded omelette with extra bacon on the side, but please, hold the hashbrowns and toast, I'm on a diet dontchaknow.

Congrats on starting the program! I hope you like it as much as I did! I really have nothing to add that everyone else hasn't said though so I just hope you feel better soon!! For reals though, working out when I had DOMS was actually a good way to lessen them. :)

Keto has been one of the best things I've ever done. I've been keto now for three months. I have more energy with keto than I ever did on a moderate carb diet, my skin is better, I find it really easy to stick to my deficit as I'm not hungry every few hours anymore, I'm eating delicious foods, I'm not hitting the snooze…

Yayyyy!! Congrats!!

You die a little bit inside when you see someone pour out the pickle juice when the pickles are all gone.

Hang in there!!

I still intend on giving out candy at the house. It doesn't even call to me anymore so I'm not worried about eating it if it's there. I intend on bringing whatever is left to the office on November 1st. :) Perhaps this is also an option for you? I think slim jims or cheese sticks would be a good idea in theory but I think…

Hahaha yes!!!

Kicking horse is the only coffee I buy. I even bring it to the office and make it in the french press (even though the office provides coffee for us). I'm seriously the coffee snob around here. One of these days I plan on going to their cafe in Invermere. It's only about 4 hours away....this weekend I'm heading East so…

Oh yeah, when I'm doing workouts that make me sweat a lot I need a lot more sodium.

I've heard a lot of good things about keto helping with a lot of the PCOS symptoms. On another note, about the obsessive thing. What I usually do with my carbs (because I can get super obsessive) is I count them in my head. Yeah it's not as perfect as logging everything in MFP but it seems to be working so far for me. It…

Thanks! I'm such a perfectionist and have been working on being more kind to myself when I'm less than perfect. Congrats on being in the 170's!! Here's to this next week and us killin it! You'll probably be amazed at how fast the 5 lbs comes back down. I think much more of it is water than you think. You got this!

:D Socks are evil.

Hahahahaha!! But for real. I lost a lot of my boobs in the last few years. I lost weight, lost the boobs, gained some weight and the boobs didn't come back with it. BS!!! Though I have to say, if you lift, add a bunch of chest work into your program. My boobs got significantly perkier since doing that.

5'5 Sw: 192 Cw: 178.2 (Up 2.4 lbs from last week) Gw: 155 I'm not going to lie, I thought about not posting this week's weigh in. But, my journey is bound to have some ups and downs and I think it's important to be honest to myself about that. My brother got married on Saturday and I definitely fell off the wagon. Which…

Do you have a squat or power rack you can do your squats in? If you have that, do your squats in one of those so you don't need a spot. I've had to bail once and I was really glad to have that option instead of having to toss the bar off my back. I second singingflutelady that you should start with the bar. I also had to…

All of this! I've had no issues and I've had some celebrations this month which involved wine, rum and diet coke, and some tequila. But as Sunny said, be mindful when you drink, you're probably a cheaper drunk now than you were before.

This is really interesting. I never made that connection before but on keto I haven't been depressed or anxious at all. Mood swings are basically non existent for me too, even during shark week. When eating carbs I was always moody, my energy levels were every much highs and crashes, I had bouts of anxiety and I was often…

5'5 Sw: 192 Cw: 175.8 (down 1.3 lbs from last week) Gw: 155 Its been an extremely stressful week. I havent gone to the gym, i havent been mindful about what I ate. I probably stayed keto most days and hovered into low carb on other days. My brothers wedding is this Saturday so hopefully after that life can go back to…

I remember when I was naive. I had a healthy smoothie every morning jam packed full of super foods!! When I started calorie counting I realized it was about 600 calories and I was usually starving a two hours after I drank it...now its BPC and I'm not hungry for about 5-6 hours. Love this WOE.

I'm keto and have been since early June. My strength has been very slowly and steadily increasing, but I'm using keto to cut so that was to be expected anyway. The first few weeks I definitely had less power in the gym. I wasn't hitting my reps, but after about three weeks I was back where I started and slowly but surely…

You've got yourself a keeper there!

Yep!! Squats actually aggravated my hip because my glute activation was so poor. This is a common problem. Banded clamshells, weighted hip thrusts and glute bridges, band kick backs, band adductions, these were all huge in getting my glutes to where they're at. I can now squat without hip pain too (yay!). I also regularly…

My BF knows better than the mess with my keto friendly snackies, and if he does he replaces them before they run out. He likes carb loaded snacks anyway so it's perfect, it prevents me from hulking out on him.
