Glad I sat on the sidelines this month - I wouldn't have helped the team AT ALL. Just hopped on the scale and I've hit that upper 'decade' 170.4....grrrr. I've scanned through the chat and can tell I want to sit later and really read through - good inspirational conversation there - @PlaneMonkey REGRET @jugar ALCOHOL and…

False start/Jumped the gun - that's what I did last week - turns out I wasn't really ready to begin again. Thank you all for your nice comments regarding my mum. Hoping that a new schedule/routine settles in quick 'cause it'll be easier to manage my food intake and maybe even get a walk in now and then. The ridiculously…

Good morning, super late introduction, Sylvia here in Massachusetts, 53. Highs and lows throughout my life - got serious in 2020 and did really well, mostly all to do with meticulous logging and joining up with Waistaways, but the last year really saw that weight creep up about 20 lbs. I've read through the whole chat and…

@jugar - I'll sit on the sidelines again this month - we've switched to home hospice care now for mum. I miss you all - had a quick glance at the July conversations...great photos, talk of shoes, jobs, home repairs (ugh), covid... I'll be back as soon as I'm able to focus.

Good to get it checked out. Acid reflux sounds minor (although not the episode you had) but if it's chronic it can lead to the Esophogeal cancer my mother's ended up with...after years of insisting she didn't have acid reflux despite some signs. Nip it in the bud now. AND more uplifting...CONGRATS on the job - so glad you…

@jugar, please put me on the sidelines for the rest of the month. I'll jump off this out of control train when I can but it might be at the end of July....I'll read posts and check in but don't want to drag the team down with ugly weigh ins; not when I'm not trying. August will be my month.

I love mornings - a perfect time to hit reset. I've prelogged my day up to supper, now to pack it up for work. A half day today as we have my aunt coming to stay for 10 days. Must go clean. And just put on my Fitbit to catch all the steps today. @PlaneMonkey and @DD265 aches and pains from gardening - think your core goals…

sorry for the 'ugh' - had a mini meltdown this afternoon. I'll log it all. But I did say 'no' this evening, when normally I would have had a 2nd or 3rd bowl of cereal (don't ask why but I usually can't keep cereal in the house either) I had just one and said, enough, to bed. and now I'll go plan my day better tomorrow.

Good morning, I'm Sylvia, 53, in Massachusetts US, single, no kids, a wonderful cat, love to garden & cook and anything to do with nature/science. Off and on heavy throughout my life, mostly heavy. Joined Waistaways in Jan 2020, was hyperfocused and did really well, lost about 40 lbs (felt amazing!), since last summer I've…

so maybe I need to do this every morning before I start my eating day....try on a pair of jeans I used to fit into last year. Ugh...just home from work and getting into garden gear...grabbed the wrong pair of jeans!! grrr....

Good morning. made some changes this past week - I've at LEAST been logging in and reading all your posts and getting some inspiration. The stress eating hasn't been resolved - in habit tracker, I'd put that I'd go out and weed when I was heading for the fridge - I'd have an amazing garden by now if I'd actually got that…

a rainy Sunday morning here, gave me a chance to catch up on all your posts...too many to respond to but I'll say you all are inspiring, even if you're struggling a bit...just seeing how busy everyone's lives are with challenges different from mine, and still posting and trying to do something for yourselves, get…

Full moon? =yesterday was insane, work chaos and major juggling and pill management at home - mum started a 2 week palliative radiation treatment to try to reduce the lesion affecting her sciatic nerve. If I weren't moving so much - garden watering, up & down the stairs, etc...I would not be keeping the crap I've been…
-
Monday again - got permission to work from home today - no one else available, and mum is not up to keeping an eye/ear out for dad. Grateful work has been very flexible thru all this. And thanks to you all for your support & understanding as I went A.W.O.L....it really has been insanely busy. @jugar ...thinking of you and…

I went to bed last night thinking I would come on here today and request to sit on the sidelines for the month. But I'm not. I can't promise that I'll be able to participate more - but I will try to get on to read all you inspiring people's posts. And I woke up feeling like maybe I can turn to healthier food - veggies, and…

Good morning all! Sylvia here, south of Boston, 53, irritated as hell that 95% of my summer clothes don't fit. Weight swings my whole life and got to a good place 2yrs ago but, especially in the last half year, it's crept (quickly) up. Lots of stressors in my life at the moment...not a minute that I don't think...what task…

@jugar I'll go first with a terrible weigh in... pw 158.2 cw 164 I know what some of that is about but not sure how it was such a jump. Post Easter chaos? I did have my salads prepped for work lunch all week but every other meal/snacks were not. Logging went by the wayside this past week too. I must buy in some more veg,…
