I use a fitbit Charge HR, it seems to work well for me. If anything it helps keep me motivated to be more active. Plus the vibrating alarm to wake up to is a wonderful thing. I haven't heard an annoying alarm in the morning since I've had mine. I am sure there are cheaper alternatives but the Fitbit has a great app and…

Hey guys I am pretty new to lifting about 2 months. A friend recommended posting to this group to get tips on squat form. This is my first youtube video as well so sorry about any quality issues. This is 175 pounds and my 3rd set of 8. I figured I would video the set where I am most fatigued. Thanks for any tips.…

My wife bought the book 'The New Rules of Lifting for Women' and it has helped her tremendously. http://www.amazon.com/New-Rules-Lifting-Women-Goddess-ebook/dp/B004IE9RGC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421625003&sr=8-1&keywords=new+rules+of+lifting+for+women

Buy a digital food scale, cost is around 20 dollars. It can really help at first to truly understand serving sizes.

Bolded part is myth. Many people lose weight with no problem eating one or two meals a day. If eating 5-6 times a day works for you to help you not feel hungry go for it but it won't make a difference based on some metabolism rubbish. Once you figure out how many calories you should be eating to safely lose weight eat…

Considering a pound is roughly 3500 calories to it would take 17500 - 21000 extra calories to equal 5-6 pounds. I doubt your splurge meal is that much over maintenance. Make sure you are weighing all your food so you know for sure how much you are eating and consider the extra weight after a splurge is mostly water…

Feel free to add me. I am on here daily

How long have you been at this? It took me a couple weeks before my body adjusted to the lower calories. Also I probably doubled my water intake and this really did help. I believe I was one that confused thirst and hunger.

Most people weigh themselves at the same time to try and be consistent. Buy a scale! A good enough digital scale might cost you 20 dollars, and will most likely be the single best investment to getting to your goal you will buy.

I know it helps me to not eat snacks before going to bed. This way my stomach helps me get up demanding some food. Then I grab a quick yogurt or something small pre workout. After a month I find myself now waking up a few minutes before my alarm goes off and ready to get to it.

I scrolled back about a week and see a bunch of days with 700 calories, 400? doubt these values are accurate. If they are eat more

I personally lift Mon/Wed/Fri all full body routines. I do Cardio on Sunday/Thursday. This gives me two complete rest days a week. This seems to be working well for me. On lifting days I am to tired to add cardio so I do it on non lifting days.
