People have to much nerve these days no filter! How dare they treat anyone like that. I would turn them into their Superiors pronto! Deads are my favorite lift. Been doing them a long time. Not only are they good for the whole body their good for the ego too :wink: So empowering!

I lift weights 4 days a week 2 leg days then upper body split then on weekends I take a 4 to 5 mile walk and that's about it for cardio my gym time lasts anywhere between 1 hr 15 mins to 1 hr 45 mins. I am in my 50's and I love lifting heavy weights :smile:

abs are made in the kitchen. need to be in caloric deficit to lose belly fat so abs can shine thru :) I'm working on that right now myself. You can do crunches etc til the cows come home but if your taking in more cals than your burning you will not see any changes.

For a quick go to when I am hungry (especially at night) is a fruit smoothy with 1/2 cup frozen mixed fruit (thawed) 1/2 cup plain non fat yogart and 1/2 cup soy or almond milk. blend it up in my nutribullet. Filling and sooo good :) about 118 cals

Sometimes I add a 1/4 cup dry oats to mine along with what ever fruit I have on hand strawberries,blueberries etc. Just put it in my bullet and it blends it up real nice. I use it before or after workouts.

I use the one from walmart its inexpensive and tastes great! I started out with 1/2 scoop and have since graduated to a full scoop. It doesnt make me jittery just keeps me focused with extra energy to get through my workout. I also love Amino energy it's really good as well I get the orange flavor :)

I think what he is trying to say is that it is hard to gain a substantial amount of muscle through cardio. I have gotten these feelings when I didnt eat enough an hour before my workout but without the bloat not really sure about that but it does sound to me that you should be lifting heavier if you can bang out 20 reps. maybe it's time to change up your routine?

I have been in the habit of weighing every morning as soon as I get up for years. It's just part of my morning routine. I also log all my food here on myfitnesspal so I really don't worry to much what the scale says I judge by how my clothes are fitting. That what works for me :)
