Soda is my nemesis, cold turkey is best, the diet alternatives effect your body in much the same way, ultimately it is all bottled poison. Alas, it keeps drawing me back, one day I will beat it.

Me too, just sent a load of requests, feel free to shout at me if I ever even mention drinking Soda.

Local chain gym + crossfit box. I find I work much harder in the box, probably chasing their approval, a problem, I know.

This is going to sound odd, but it is the absolute truth, in 7 weeks of exercising I seem to have grown 1cm taller.

Hey UK too, down in Cirencester. I have been going at this a little half heartedly for a while now. That changed this morning.

Scottish but living in Wiltshire, love to hear from more UK people.

I am only down 15 pounds so far but already I am beginning to take far more care over my appearance; I visited several shops at the weekend looking for dress shirts, before I would have just grabbed the first one.

60 pounds here, add me for support from the UK if you want, lets get this done!

Only 14 pounds down so far but an noticing an odd effect. I have lost about an inch all over but my fat areas are noticably softer. If I measure round my navel then I am down two inches, but if I measure further down at the hip I have gone up half an inch. Moisturising like crazy, hopefully the skin will bounce back.

Was there a sale on Creosote that day?

Your Local Decathlon store is also a good source of cheap protein powder, I recommend the Soy protein variety.

Hey I have some garmin kit, Forerunner 15 has gps, hrm and an activity tracker, ties in nicely with my edge bike computer, worth a look. My goals are cycling based, but trying to run, finding it very tough.
-
Have a look at the garmin forerunner 15, good price and does everything you need and more. Seems immune to the arm movement issue, mine has been great.
-
Garmin User too, SalsaJason on Garmin too. Love to hear from some cyclists.

Hey, trying hard to be a vegan and get my cycling mojo back, its hard, kudos to you.

Been wondering about this myself, I will take this as a recommendation!

Greatest TV show of all time, Caprica 6 FTW

For me it is a mental victory; for a long time, (Maybe since childhood) I have been in the cycle of using food as a reward. For example I used to attend a gym that had a great restaurant in the foyer, so I would go along and do my laps or reps then 'reward' myself with a 'healthy' meal. In reality I was probably going to…

Kudos, great job.
