High protein vegetarian foods are hard to come by. Anytime I've gone vegetarian in the past, I've had to use protein mix supplements as a safeguard.

If you get fat, you won't have the metabolism or energy to lift, and even if you do, the muscle will burn the fat. I really don't see how you can do both...

I weigh daily both as a way to stay mindful of my eating and activity, and to practice not taking it personally. Weekly weigh ins would be up one week with down the next week, only to feel okay again and go back up, then feel bad and go back down. I stayed in the same five pound range for months... But, to each their own.

I was about to start a thread with nearly the same question. I'm not too worried about fat as much as I am total carbs and calories, although fats don't always help that. According to the food tracking I've done in just over a week, I probably should be eating nothing but turkey bacon, but that doesn't sound right.
