If you are still in a deficit, keep on going :) Trust me, sodium intake can cause you to hold water weight. It is very improbable that weight gain is fat. It takes a month on a a huge surplus to even gain that much fat.

With regards to your question. I do log them but my "cheats" tend to be calculated refeeds. Usually, 10-20 percent surplus or at maintenance calories high carbs/ moderate fat protein.

This would work out well for you with a small deficit as your BMI is going to start to get close to the underweight class if you continue to cut. How big is your deficit currently and what is your TDEE?

It doesn't work like that. Your body doesn't just expend calories as you exercise, it does so even if you were to sleep in bed for the whole day. As long as you are in a deficit based on your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), you will lose fat steadily.

Rice is a staple in my diet and I continue to lose weight. I cannot understand how anyone can train with very low to no carbs. Just make sure you are in a caloric deficit and that your proteins and fats are hit. Once you have hit both your daily requirements for protein and fat, you can eat the rest in carbs or limit them…

Strong this. It is all about control. There is nothing wrong with liking food. If I could, I would binge on pizza and ice cream daily. Just learn to work in a small meal with the foods you like to eat into your diet once a while to ease your cravings.
