Chia is good for a smoothie, as are flax seeds. I only use a combo of a chia/flax blend from Carrington Farms in the a.m., with my NutriBullet smoothie. The veggies and fruit make their taste undetectable. They are "hot" because of the Omega 3's they provide. If it's not for you, you can get that in salmon instead, or…

OMG with guys and the boob thing. I was a widow at 30 and got back in the dating pool and, my God, guys are a ton more boob obsessed. I got in the car with someone and he grabbed my boob immediately. I ditched him during dinner and never saw him again. Even upon meeting my now fiancé, he stared at my boobs a lot. But he…

All words have meaning. But I was under the impression that this was a supportive community. Silly me. I was just trying to offer a different perspective based upon the original person's post. And now I'm looking for my tonsils, because a crap ton of people jumped down my throat. Where are they...oh, there they are. Lesson…

Yikes. Well, ok then, SOME of us have a love/hate relationship with food. Everyone is so literal.

People are accountable for their own actions. Some lose weight one way, others do it another. Whatever works for you is your choice. I decided to eat healthier for, well, my health. But I indulge. I have bad days. Sometimes, I have a bad week. I'm human. Everyone here is. Deprivation will only lead to failure. I try and…

That sounds soooo good. Trying this one. Maybe I do need to use almond milk again. It's only about 40 calories but I'm stingy with the calories. Maybe adding protein will also help to be filling.

I haven't tried pomegranate seeds yet. This is the first time I actually followed one of the actual recipes. I do better on my own. I typically do spinach or kale with a mix of fruit and always top off with my chia/flax seed blend. I only use water, no almond milk or anything else, in order to avoid a higher calorie blast.…

For me and my health. Actually, my fiance likes bigger girls. Not that I'm small (yet) but I constantly ask if my getting fit and thinner is going to be attractive for him. He said he'll love me either way. All the insecurities are my own, though. I do believe he will love me, either way and, frankily, if he doesn't or…

I am SO the same way. If I skip a meal, those are the days I have a higher caloric intake. It is different for everyone. If I skip breakfast, I'm a giant crab. However, I can seem to skip lunch here and there, though I try not to, because as I said, I'll over eat most of the times I do that. I also sincerely hope that, no…

If I liked ladies, sure. Alas, I like the guys.

Your story is incredible and you should be so proud!! Congratulations and I'm glad you brought up the point that you should look to eat healthy, not just lose weight. That's my mission. Though I am physically capable of exercising and I do, it became a mission of health before pounds for me, this time. I think that's why I…

Amazing!!! I hope I can achieve all you have. I have a long way to go, but I have come far already. Thanks for the inspiration!

AMAZING and inspiring!

Absolutely. I suffer with anxiety and I have cut caffiene out of my life. It's sooooo hard!!!! I crave that cup of coffee. But I haven't had coffee or diet soda in weeks. I also cut out alcohol (due to calories too). If you smoke, that will also be a factor. Hope it all works out for you!

Anyone can add me

Hey all. Count me in. Add me. Motivation in groups is wonderful!

this may be an old thread, but super inspiring! Thanks for all of the information. Glad I started lifting early. I'm hopeful, then, that my skin will not be loose and gross. Great job!!

OMG, that's awesome. I thought it was weird that the calories were not adjusting! I know, from being a former Weight Watchers person, I'd lose points to eat when I lost weight and wondered why I wasn't losing calories here. That helps SO much! Thank you, all, for your tips. I had a blip of a health scare, but I'm ok now…

Lynn1982 is technically right, I haven't "Plateaued." But things are slowing down some and I wanted to get some tips or tricks on how people have boosted a loss when they saw a slow down. Just looking for support and ideas................

I lost weight this week (I weigh weekly, not daily). My SW...(gulp, I've not admitted this), was 355. I'm down to 316. I don't feel like I should be slowing down so much just yet, but it may be muscle conversion.

I saw your starting weight and your current weight and see pics. That's progress!! Celebrate what you've done (I need to remind myself this as well). I'm no where near what you've lost, but go girl! Amazing!

I'm still losing and logging it every calorie (Even mints...seriously). I just would like a boost, since I've slowed down. Maybe adding more exercise is key or there are some good fat burning foods I could add?

Watching those "Super Size Me" documentaries and seeing what goes into the food is what stopped me, even before I really resolved to lose weight. It's scary to know that an ingredient in McDonald's buns is also found in yoga mats, or how one's body can shut down from over-eating these foods. It doesn't work for everyone,…

Hi, I'm Cheryl...I'll be 36 in November (more than 1/2 way to 40). I'm a mother to a 13 year old boy (the light of my life and the bane of my existence, both at the same time, LOL). I'm a widow, but I've been lucky to find love again and I'm engaged to be married, though no wedding date as of yet. Frankily, I'm afraid for…
