  • good luck with your interview and way to go for fitting into the pants. It's a good omen for a successful interview
  • Hey Jen i'm in Aus too and a little on the vertically challenged side at 5"4' . Sadly i'm also about 5foot wide too. I have 46kg to lose for my first goal. Like you i'm not seeing much movement on the scales but noticing it in the clothes. Have you ever thought of having a Body Compostion measurement done? I'm having one…
  • I got on the scales this morning and my weight had ballooned. Initially i was really upset and angry at both myself and my partner. My partner for her unhealthy view to her surgery and myself for getting sucked in to that way of eating. I went to the gym and after a good work out i put a few things into perspective. When i…
  • You sound like you're making some huge gains (well except for weight which is awesome). Doesn't it feel amazing to notice those little changes in your clothing when you think you haven't really made a difference to your weight? Keep going hon you're doing awesome
  • @jilliancreates thanks hon. I was only thinking this morning ( at 5am while I lie here awake) that looking at the whole week I'm usually so far under I can afford a bit more on the weekends. I probably do need to stop beating myself up. Thanks for reminding me of that
  • Thanks heaps guys for the tips. I will concentrate on calories and not so much on the others for now. My weight loss has stalled a bit but i think that may also be due to me starting at the gym and put on some muscle. I will pay more attention to weighing things and see how I go
  • OK this might be a bit long so sorry in advance First of all still getting to the gym. Totally stoked. Really seeing some changes in my cardio fitness. The new slam activity in my program is making a difference. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I hate doing it but i love the changes it's bringing about. I'm…
  • CMR i get you. As someone who has been on the depression/overeating/gaining weight cycle for over 20 years i understand. As was said before, You are very self aware and that is half the battle. So many people go through life blaming everything but themselves for the choices they make and never get off the treadmill. We are…
  • Rey you're looking awesome. Enjoy your cruise and remember ANYTHING IN MODERATION. Try all the good stuff . Have a blast. oh yeah The movie Rocks!!!!!!
  • Way to go mum. Awesome work. Hopefully the start of new habits for her. I'm having a body composition done next week. i can't wait. I love numbers and figures the more the better. It will be good to see exactly what is hiding under all of this fat.
  • @totaldetermination it is true the body burns more when it is sick as it is channelling all of it's rescourses into fighting the bug or infection. That's why it is important to rest when you're sick so your body has the energy to do what it has to do to get better. THat's why you feel so tired when sick because you're body…
  • Wow im in awe of your strength and determination. I aspire to get to where you are and be maintaining and keeping up good exercise. Way to go you
  • Way to go you. Well done on the run. This is an awesome win. As for food. If i log something and dont eat it i just leave it logged as if ive eaten it. I figure i'll be under and gives me some leeway
  • Hey guys thanks heaps for all your words of support. it means so much. I got back to the gym today. it felt sooooo good. My Trainer has tweaked my routine a bit and its now harder but kinder on the knees. They are a little tender tonight but i think that's how it's going to be now until a lose a sizeable chunk of weight. I…
  • Had a massive cheat day today for Valentines day. Strangely enough still under calorie goal but food choices weren't the smartest. Feeling a bit heavy this evening. To add insult to injury my left knee has "flared" . For some reason since i started trying to lose weight back in 2014, every 10 days my knees get sore and…
  • Getting through that ":head" hunger is one of the hardest things to do. Good on you for overcoming it

  • Honey honey honey............stubborn will be the end of you. Trust me I live with one. It helps sometimes but mostly it just causes you grief (re your back). Having said that glad you got everything sorted without major injury and I hope your back is settling with some REST. I'm sure you burnt enough calories with your…
  • @quzzdragon water activities are definitely awesome for your knees. I also have dodgy knees and anything other than low impact activities are a no go zone and even then i have to watch what I do. I'm looking in my area for an aqua zumba class to go to. I think it will connect with my gym routine just nicely. I'm glad you…
  • Wow you are smashing this. Massive difference in your two photos and it sounds like the gym is really working for you. Way to go. You are going to look awesome on this cruise and it's all down to your hard work. You inspire me
  • Glad you got home ok mate and that you're keeping up the good work now you're there. I'm also doing the tape measure thing tomorrow and will post the shocking numbers when I do them. Keeps us posted with everything

  • I did have one but not sure what happened to it. I'll have to look into it. Generally i try to get up between calls and stretch and plank and ride my pedals just to stay a bit active during the night
  • @cmr3399 i went out and got myself some gym gear so I could "look the part" and it does work on the mind. I love getting into my gear it gets my head in the right space. I don't know if you have Target where you are but they have some awesome stuff. I despaired of finding anything cause i need larger sizes but Target had…
  • So im definitely noticing some changes. I am down 1kg (2.2lb) this week, which is my goal. Initially i had been disappointed with my loss because it didn't seem much but when i looked back to a week ago yeah im down 1kg. So pretty stoked there. When i went to the shops yesterday I was looking at the gym gear and thought…
  • wow interesting numbers. I don't think i could find fat calipers that will measure the amount of fat i have. Way to go you for setting yourself some good goals and going for them
  • Safe travels mate. Remember you're allowed to have a cheat day every now and then so don't beat yourself up if an extra beer slips in. You are doing a great job and making some great progress. Focus now on getting yourself into a routine at home and keep up the great work
  • Honey this is all about you. What you choose the share or not share is completely about your comfort zone. As @jilliancreates said some people (like myself) do to stay accountable but it doesn't necessarily work for everyone.
  • I like to see going to the gym and im going to get some health rather than im going to exercise. If i say that my inner voice goes Uggh exercise its too hard i can't do it and I find a million reasons not to go. If i say to myself I'm choosing to get some health to feel better today, I am more likely to go and i know once…
  • way to go for all the progress you have made. Truly an inspiration. i will be following your posts to keep up to date
