Tim Hortons in Canada just launched nutella doughnuts, nutella pastry pockets and added nutella to their list of bagel toppings.

Well I've hit my 3K goal for today  and I haven't even had my spiked eggnog yet. Now looking forward to my 5K goal for tomorrow. Bring on ALL THE CHOCOLATE!!

I was soooo disappointed about not being able to do the thanksgiving challenge, since you weirdo Americans celebrate it in the wrong month  Therefore I am so in for Christmas. Christmas Eve dinner I'm looking for 3K minimum. I will probably eat half of that in chocolate cheesecake. Christmas day is a lunch and a…

^This. Your TDEE is calculated using the activity level you entered in your goals. sedentary TDEE = BMR x 1.2 lightly active TDEE = BMR x 1.4 (I'm assuming you entered this one) moderately active TDEE = BMR x 1.55 etc... so 2001 x 1.4 = 2800 and 2800 - 1000 (for 2lb/week loss) = 1800 Cals

You definitely need more seeds. I would say minimum 2 tbsp of seeds to a cup of liquid. You should stir it a few times over the course of the first 20 minutes to help evenly distribute the seeds and keep them from all clumping at the bottom. Then stir again after it sets.

Bowling, skating, skiing, playing pool, hiking, video games...

How long did you let it set? It can take several hours. Best to make it then leave it in the fridge overnight. Also take a look at your seed to liquid ratio. You need 2-3 tbsp of chia seeds per cup of liquid.

Make the pudding first. It is super easy and super yummy.

One of my favourites is angel food cake/berry trifle. Mix together cool whip and a package of sugar free vanilla pudding, then layer that mixture with chunks of angel food cake and berries (frozen or fresh), until you run out. Try to end with berries on top.

I'm type 1 and I count carbs strictly for the amount of insulin I need to take, nothing to do with weight loss. Have you seen a dietician to help you out? When I was diagnosed I was sent to one a few times to explain a lot of this stuff. It's quite helpful and they have a lot of charts and lists you can reference while you…

The original post was indeed about Sparkling Ice, I just haven't tried it so I used my own diet pop of preference as an example. As far as it being less delicious than a Micky Ds burger, I guess that depends on the metric of deliciousness. Maybe the judgement is based on amount of grease? or sodium? or "chemicals"?

"...the primary taste of Coca-Cola comes from vanilla and cinnamon with trace amounts of orange, lime and lemon and spices such as nutmeg." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coca-Cola_formula#cite_ref-poundstone_3-0 What's the problem with these flavours? Plus sweetening, whether by traditional means or by use of artificial…

Obviously plenty of people like it or there wouldn't be such a huge market for it. I find the regular stuff makes my mouth feel "sticky" (for lack of a better word) and I usually prefer caffeine from cold drinks rather than hot when it's not freeze-your-*kitten*-off weather, so coke zero makes me happy :)

I loooove the Harvey's pickles. I get 4 on my burger and then extras on the side. They always give me at least a 2 inch stack of pickle slices *drool*

And even then the fluid has to have a similar density to water.

I find that just playing with my toddler is a pretty good workout most days. There are plenty of "baby and me" workout plans that can be modified to work with toddlers if you want something more structured. It's also a great example for them when they see you trying to be more active, even better if they get to participate!

^This. Also, unless you dished out the money on a high quality one, bathroom scales are notorious for weighing a bit light.

Interesting that a lot of people are using artificial sweetener and aspartame interchangeably. Aspartame is just one of many artificial sweeteners, though it seems to get bagged on the most, and I don't believe the OP specified.

Hot damn! You beat me to it!

Pretty sure half the people in here use flags as the MFP version of a like button

Man I LOVE the brownies in those!

Actually I just grabbed the first one. My apologies. Here's the link I used, go find a definition you like better. merriam-webster.com/dictionary/chemicalhttp://

If I had the time and energy and time I would love that diet, because I would know exactly how everything I ate was handled. However, that being said, it would still have chemicals because chemicals are not just herbicides and additives, but also the lactose in the milk, they make up the proteins in the meat and to make…

When I say best it's about the deliberately obtuse ones that make me laugh, like Food Babe. When I say worst it's about the people who are making a real effort at what they perceive to be eating healthier, but don't understand or have gotten bad information about what healthier is. Chemical does not mean bad. Natural does…
-
You've got that right. Some posts I read and I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. The best/worst are the ones that want an all-natural, chemical-free, non-GMO diet.
-
Better share those millions with those who inspired the idea!
-
A chemical. I think you are missing my point. Basically everything, when you get down to a certain level, is made up of chemicals. So why do people use the word with such a negative connotation?
-
My point is that the word "chemical" in relation to what we consume has this stigma that it's toxic and bad for you, which just isn't true. It's misleading and inaccurate and screams "Hey I'm preaching about something that I know nothing about!"

How about the Webster's dictionary definition? 1: of, relating to, used in, or produced by chemistry or the phenomena of chemistry <chemical reactions>
